I have a question for everyone...
Why do people resent getting older so much? I hear people who are thirty talking about their lives like they are over when they hit that age...
What is the problem? I know the only alternative to getting older is DYING so I appreciate EVERY day given to me not only b/c I am grateful, but because SO many have not made it even as far as my short 26 years!
So people...please appreciate everyday given to you, take care of your bodies, and don't start whining until you get about 80 or so.
Live everyday like it is your last!

Well Q.
My sister is about to turn 30 next year, she's whining...The ladies I work with are always whining, the men I work with are always saying ...Oh I'm getting so old and they are only like 45-50.
It just gets annoying after a while, not to mention it is ungrateful! People should value their years and embrace the wisdom that comes with age. If more people were happy to get older, the media wouldn't have such a strong hold on our thinking, i.e. anti-aging cream, men who leave their wives for younger women to seem "cooler" or hip, NO RESPECT for the elderly.

I don't mind getting older as long as I don't feel older.. by the way, can I age like Lena Horne?

Or Sophia Loren?
Even at 47, I still feel young; I'm in my prime, and loving it.
So bring it on.

I'm 25. My name means "white eyebrow", meaning i will live long. It kinda scares me growing old, but at the same time i look for positive elderly that actually make me look forward to that age, versus the grumpy old people that make me disgusted at aging. It's who you know and how you see it.
Look at Hugh Heph, lol
But from a womens standpoint there is the intelligent graceful beauty that no young woman can have. And that is what I will strive for.

I'm 21 and I hate the fact that I do think about getting old a lot and it scares me too.

Hi There,
I had a mid life crisis when I turned 29yrs. Don't know why but I felt ancient. I am 43ys now and feel better than I did at 19. I apprieciate my age, I am more mature, wiser, and I feel much better looking. The best part is that the dating age group has widened, I can date younger or older men. I am much better off financially...I could go on and on. I look forward to many more years, you are as young as you feel. *S*
Sunshine...
