Photoshop or warpaint?
Posted by ellessque
I don't want to believe this....but it's weird and I think it's worth asking because at some point somebody is likely to bring it up.
@the OP......What is up with your IP address?
I've been watching it for a minute...because of all the threads you start and never revisit.
I know that IP addresses are strange and not very dependable on this site.....and I'm not accusing anyone of anything but there are several names associated with this one and some have only posted once.....agreeing or responding to others that are also on this list.
any thoughts (or explanations)?

YES, it melts and seemingly evaporates - a real hot, humid day is the worst!

I feel the need to wear makeup daily, but it's very basic. A little foundation to even out skin tone and light eyeliner to accentuate my eyes a little as I don't have real thick eyelashes. It's a fairly natural look. And, I've got the same look whether I'm lounging around the house or going out on the town.
+1
I might add coloured lip gloss when going out.
My biggest pet peeve is seeing that orange line around someone's jaw. I just want to hand them a napkin.click to expand

How could not have seen melting make-up, in all that heat and humidity? Are you sure you are from Manila?
The answer is yes, make-up melts like no other and she would end up looking like a disco ball, try putting your camera on flash and watch her SHINE!

I like some type of color on my lips. I dont feel insecure without it, but I do atleast like a lipstain or something. Im not the type that will stay in the house because I dont have it though.
Id like to really get into foundation etc, but idk. If I do go somewhere special Ill mix a little liquid foundation in my hand with a moisturizer and rub it on my face lol. I love makeup, but im horrible with the application.

How so and in which way?
As in make up options vs non make up looks, different tone of skin and all that.
And in general. With me anyway. Long, nice scented hair = land of enchantment. Snozzy knows what I am talking about.click to expand

Especially when it is silky soft, shining in the light, a thick tumbling mess down her back and when she saunters pass, the scent carries in the air, leaving a trail which allows enamored suiters to follow, enthralled...yes?

That's the dangers of using makeup as a "mask" as opposed to "enhancement." KimK wears so much of it anywhere and everwhere she goes. Her feature aren't really changed that much, but her usual heavy eye makeup and false lashes makes such a huge difference...
Not just that, but the lack of letting the skin breathe accelerates ageing. Common effect in Arab culture in general.
Is it a culture thing? I've noticed they love their kohl eye liners though. I admit when I see an Arab woman with big, almond-shaped, jade-green eyes lined with black, it's a gorgeous effect...click to expand

Cause we're stupid and tired just like you.
well not the stupid part
:/ don??t comment on such things.
a) it is none of your business unless it??s your gf/bf what ever...
b.) you??re not gonna make this person feel any better even if you are right...and your intention is "well meant".
leads us to c.) shut the fuck up about it and just think your part. i??m sure people have a mirror at home.click to expand

Arab women have all my favourite features in life. It's just there's a common trend for them to overemphasize it at all hours of the day, and many of them don't reach 30 to 40 looking anywhere near like in the prime years. If they took it easy and allowed some more au naturelle into their lives, it might be different.click to expand

Personally I think it looks cleaner. Maybe too much white space but I don't think it's the finished article yet.

It also cracks me up when guys think a girl is wearing "barely any" or "no" makeup when her makeup is just more natural looking.
Little do they know that she's wearing primer, moisturizer, concealer, foundation, blush/bronzer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, lipgloss, etc. They're so fooled by the colors, quality of the products used, application, and blending.
I've heard guys say things like, "I love how Natalie Portman doesn't wear makeup." LOL! No doubt she's a beautiful girl who I'm sure still looks fab without makeup, but so many guys have no clue what "no makeup" really looks like.

People ARE weird. Now those hairless cats really get me...and I'm surprised that there has not been attempts to breed a cat minus the toenails :/
But there probably has been.
i??m sure there has been such an attempt. ohhhhhh i saw a documentary about those naked cats.....they are so sensitive to sun, their owners rub them in with suncream.......why the hell would you want to breed something that is so vulnerable and helpless and would die without a human being caring for it? *ponders*click to expand

It depends on where I am.
If I am at work, then YES makeup is a MUST.
but if its down the shop or at a friends house, Im not too bothered.
I enjoy putting on makeup, especially when I am about to go out. Its just the whole process of getting ready which makes me excited about the night ahead.
You sound so FUN!!
When are you coming to 'Merikah? I wanna meet you for some drinks and dancing
