A black woman was at a Starbucks in Illinois yesterday morning. A white man called her a "black b_____" and mentioned something to the effect of "this is why black people are dying."

She followed him out of the Starbucks and challenged his words. Watch the video she took.

This is what racism is. Perhaps before the George Floyd died, this woman wouldn't have risked her safety to call this racist out.

This is a better example of how merely standing up for yourself gets you beaten up. And this is what they face every god damn day.

Black men die every 40 hours at the hands of police and it’s their 6th leading cause of death.

That’s only part of the problem when white people act like this.

Imagine how much of a toll the stress of that takes when you have to prepare to go out of your house and deal with it.

I agree. Perhaps a month ago she doesn't follow him out, because she fears for her safety (rightfully so) or she thinks that the police/authorities won't do anything to support her, however the situation transpires.

I also think that racists like him are feeling more empowered to speak out with the Trump presidency.

I also think that there are a lot of frustrated racists out there right now. There are also ignorant people who are frustrated and just don't get it.

I have some white friends and FB acquaintances who just don't get it.

This is bigger than the murder of George Floyd, but it's his murder in public that will form the catalyst for change. I'm sure of it.

He's been arrested for felony assault.

He's also been charged with a hate crime.

I stand corrected..

"The County County State's Attorney's Office has charged Palley with one count of committing a hate crime and one count of aggravated battery."
He feels entitled to say what he wants and then walk away like there shouldn't be a reaction. He caught her hands though. Kept his mouth shut when confronted because his foot was already in his mouth. Now, his life is about to change because he's insists on being a racist prick. Assault charges are on the way.
