I Hate Job Interviews

I've gone on many job interviews and have the general grasp of what I"m supposed to say but I still hate them.
It causes so much anxiety before I start the interview that I feel like I could get sick.
Once the interview starts it's like "oh, I got this!" But waiting day of to be interviewed suckkks

Anyways wish me luck tomorrow! I've got a job interview! smile
It's one of those interviews where I have to court multiple bosses -___-
I might forget how to speak and flop...
of course you'll do just fine.
you're articulate, intelligent and keen as mustard.
So good luck and we'll celebrate the good news soon smile

Good luck! Advice might be a little late, but asking questions like "how would you describe the culture here" and "where would you like to see the company go/focus/etc" are good icebreakers. Interview them as much as they interview you.
You know its going well if the interview turns into more of a conversation rather than stilted question and answer.
Thanks guys smile Lol I'm over here having a meltdown over whether this conservative sweater makes me look frumpy. I also really hate interview clothes. I wear a blazer skirt suit, will I look like a man/woman? SMH
I'm really anal about the appropriate apparel for interviewing. I once saw a girl wear a black clubbing dress and throw a blazer over it for an interview. She did not get the job.

We covered stuff like this in my senior seminar class and the ladies who were giving us the insight into everything said that the things they saw at job fairs... so many of these silly bitch girls dress up like they're going to the club and that's what they see as "nice."

We've turned females into prostitutes in how they dress. They don't even know what appropriate dress is for anything anymore. It's slut and non slut. What's even worse is you can always consult the internet if you aren't sure, but I doubt these same girls have any idea what it's for aside from Facebook and Youtube.
Ughh Not my best interview but we'll see. I hate when I'm given only "so tell me about yourself and your experience" I could really write a whole book. Felt very much like i was rambling but I think I got all my points across. I always bring a bottle of water with me because I get dry mouth. By the time Im done with the interview no water. lol
You probably did much better than you think.

smile

When should you hear something?
Hopefully soon. its an immediate position. If they request an immediate urine sample drug test and background check is that a good sign? I figure that cost $ $ and they will only invest in candidates they are serious in.

Indeed.

Ridiculous... but good.

Yessss!! I'm hoping. Now I'm anxious about the getting an offer. I kinda need to know soon.
@Bmoon @Montgomery @Dontgetmewrong I always feel a pressure to act a "certain way" This time I really tried to be myself and showcase my personality. These ppl were looking at me like I was an alien so IDK.
I was so tense in my last interview the lady told me to relax. She was also a Cappie, but I ended up making her nervous. I hate interviews too, always have.

funny
Well... ?
No answer yet.. I did the drug test yesterday and they are probably still doing the background check.. I'm hoping to hear back by Monday. If not by then, I'll assume I didn't get it.

Trying to stay positive. They need for immediate so they can't shop around too long for a candidate.
I love job interviews, especially the ones where you didn't bother to think about the questions you'd face and you end up acing that shit anyways. Walk out feelin like a boss.
