IF A GIRL WEARS A SKIRT....does that mean she's..

I haven't been on DXP even a week yet, and i'm sure i might alienate a few of ya'll with this, but i hope not.

Okay. Here it is.
Women are smarter than men. No question. They coordinate things even when it seems like something is being played by ear...it's still calculated.
When it comes to deciding what to wear on any given day.....
I DO NOT believe how some girls say they just threw on a skirt.
To me.... wearing a SKIRT...that has to be a conscious decision.
Females are well aware of how beauty can assault the senses.

So having said that... Anytime a girl puts on a skirt she's inviting eyes to her thighs...and therefore some type of thoughts about sex.
NOW I'M IN NO WAY SAYING THAT a girl wants to HAVE SEX or a girl should be
approached sexually because of her outfit.
I'm not talking about the act of sex.
I'm talking about creating the thoughts of sex.

I mean yo...just think of what runs through your mind when you see a girl
sitting in a chair with her legs crossed !!!
It doesn't have to be a short skirt...actually, mini skirts are a turn off to me.
But shapely thighs in a skirt... there might not be a better visual treat induced by clothing.
whatcha think ?
"Women are smarter than men."
Utter BS.
Well, Chi is a women, so I wouldn't be so quick to judge if I were you...Tongue
Hey, hey...can we get back on topic ?? - LOL smile

I need to know if i see a girl in a skirt...is it a purposefully executed
attempt at arousing the senses ...or merely just a outfit she picked from her closet.
I agree with aa. I wear skirts because they make me look and feel more feminine, if I'm in that mood, not because I want men to think of sex...until I read your post, I didn't even know it had such a strong effect. Maybe that's just what it does to you Winking.
Btw, I think you may be giving women way too much credit, because we can only tell what is arousing to men from what they tell us and reactions we get...I mean, it's impossible for us to fully understand what a skirt would do to a man since we aren't men. Get it?
The skanky mini skirt look clothing yes they do it for sexual attention. However,a long skirt or just about the knees legth skirts can be anything really.Example:A skirt or dress outfit is usually the easiest "formal" for women in some jobs such as offices, teachers, etc.to pull off.Because other "formal" dressings such as womens suit type things are harder to come by,most stores just stock skirt and dress outfits. However even the classier look does have some females who wear them to look attractive or good which yes is on the deeper level is the sexual way. You'd have to talk to them to find out why and if its related to the non apparence reasons.
THANK YOU LADIES...this has been very informative for me.

Some thoughts and stuff :

#1. Am i just a horn dog ??? I don't think so.... us pisces guys are gentlemen right?
But i will say that being so receptive to things... you cant possibly
imagine all the ways a female just being herself is ...well, arousing.
#2. I have to admit that i DO think women are calculating.
When things seem to be just simple they are still very complex.
And even having a little sister... i notice what dictates her choice in outfits.
She's 17 and constantly trying to look cute.
I tell her good guys want girls in jogging pants and ponytails...
Hell...i WISH girls would dress like that more often.
But when i'm out and about in MY city...these girls always look like they
are on their way to a video shoot.
And all just feels very intentional.

Every FEMALE READING THIS...... PAY ATTENTION...
in a 7 day period.... you can bet that at least 10 guys have stared longingly at you.
What did you do that caused those reactions ???
nothing! *runs away*

wearing a SKIRT...that has to be a conscious decision.
I totally agree....i feel very feminine in skirts n dresses and there r days when u wanna look all girly TongueTongueTongue

looked very feminine Tongue..
So...what's the verdict?

Girl wears a skirt, guys stare at her thighs all day.

Even with all the foresight females tend to have......
she never thought that her choice of outfit that day would drive guys crazy ?

Can it really be just a simple outfit choice?
with no thought whatsoever of the attention it would attract ????
Eh...
I only own a few skirts (I'm more of a Levis girl), and the reason I only own a few skirts is because I am well aware of the spike in male attention when I choose to wear one. The fact that I am in a relationship has made me less inclined to wear skirts when going out and more inclined to wear them while at home. But for special occassions, or when it's really hot (lol), I really only wear them to look "dressed up".
When I was single, I did wear them more often. So, in my experience, for the most part they are worn for a reason, whether conscious or unconscious.
Mercury Rising -
I can't speak for all women (obviously), but when I wear a skirt, I am honestly not considering the kinds of thoughts it will send through a man's mind. I wear them simply to feel more feminine, soft, pretty, etc.
Now I'm not saying that women never make concious choices that they know will get them more attention from men -- for example, if you see a woman in hot pants or really tight jeans, those are examples of women who choose their clothing with the intention of getting male attention Winking. Those same types of women will probably wear a skirt for the reasons you described.
But not every female wears a skirt to be provocative. So I say that, depending on the person, it can definitely be just a simple choice of outfit that will make them feel a certain way or gives them confidence, and has nothing to do with being sexually stimulating Tongue.
You are really stretching your imagination.
In the summer, I wear skirts or dresses 90-95% of the time. I would not be caught dead, in public, wearing shorts. In my opinion, wearing shorts lacks class and style but I tend to be more formal than casual and prefer dressing up to down.
I like them because they are stylish and feminine and classy. I like the way they feel. If you knew how comfortable they were, you would wear them too! lol!
Also they hide a multitude of sins and can be very flattering. Even if your weight fluctuates a lot, you don't have to worry about them not fitting or being uncomfortable. You can gain several pounds and they will still be comfortable. The same cannot be said of jeans or pants. I can find jeans and pants really constricting and uncomfortable. I don't like them half as much.
I would wear skirts constantly in the winter as well but generally it gets too cold. I do have warm skirts that I wear if weather permits, with leotards and boots.
*** maybe your just horny most of the time and girls in skirts turn you on then u just want to fuck them senselessly
I think this is the truth about what is going on. You are thinking easy access ... I am thinking comfort.
Easy access ???
Horniness ???
But at least 5 girls have admitted in this very thread that they ARE conscious of the "spike in male attention" when they wear skirts.
Maybe we can table this issue, but i have learned much from it.

It's not as simple as an outfit to some.... it may be strategic, it may be about comfort but some women know what its doing to everyone around them.
and to others...simply an outfit.
Your answers were just as multi-faceted as....well...as women can be.
Good for ya'll.

Honestly...i don't even know any girls who can hold convos like this without getting bored.. i applaud you all.
"Your answers were just as multi-faceted as....well...as women can be."
Different people think differently...astounding.
lol, glad I could contribute a little something to the convo, Mercury (even if I'm not of the same mindset as all the other ladies!)
Well, I have never noticed more male attention but it is probably because I live in skirts anyway. If men actually feel this way, it is very interesting as the thought has never crossed my mind.
