Is it a compliment?
Or that you're crazy?

Does it make a difference if it's a guy saying it to girl, and the two have a bit of a romantic past?
I guess it's a compliment

Depends on the statements made before the person said "You have a unique mind"
*me discussing some idea*
*the other person going "oh that's a unique mind*..smiling, contemplative => compliment
*me discussing some idea*
*the other person rolling their eyes, dripping sarcasm in *well that's one way to look at it. i guess you have a unique mind" => diss
Unless this is my Taurus sun/Gem Moon friend..in which case I don't know which is it.

It was via text, so unfortunately the tone/intonation didn't come across.

That's really nice. I'm usually called a weirdo.

Compliments on intellect or personality can be just as shallow as physical compliments.
Some physical compliments might actually be deeper.
It's really easy to coin some metaphor as far as compliments go.

I mean "you have a unique mind" by itself doesn't say anything to me.
It's like someone texting me "Red is a color". uhm, ok?
Haha definitely a compliment!
