All I know though is that people do fuck their aunts, grandfathers, etc. Plus they claim that the relationships are intense.

Parent/child incestuous relationships are actually very common. There's a site, I forgot its name but I'll write it as soon as I remember. Anyway, they have over a million members from all over the world in such relationships & most are in it with their own parents. I remember reading one story by a woman from Europe. But google tells me first that its a female Indian name, and a culture where historically sexual attraction as little to nothing to do marriage, but wikipeadia is also telling me its not legal to marry your first cousin there and Hinduism forbid marriage until the degree of 6th cousin. Its not my intent to insult any culture, but the disadvantages of incestuous reproduction is well documented, whither its practiced or not.

My point is, they still arouse each other regardless of the relationship between them. Whether marriage over there has anything to do with attraction or not, they are still getting it on, is my point. Google must have incorrect data because my friend's sister just married her cousin in december 2013. They even have the same surname!

You must understand that some people will continue with tradition regardless of what the law says. Like in my country for an example...young boys are encouraged to seek medical circumcision than go get it done the traditional way due to the high risk of infections. It wouldn't freak me out at all. Sexual atraction happens on a subconscious level..if you make the choice to bring it to light then you'll deal with morality issues.

I was attracted to a second cousin of mine..and he was attracted to me too (Virgos smh) but we made light of this and joked around. Nothing ever happened.

This dealing from my side and how I relate to my family.

If someone I was flirting with brought that up...I'd honestly see it as having a vivid imagination. It doesn't need to translate in reality.

I'm an only child and men in my family really are not all that so it would puzzle me if he imagined myself with some guy in my family.

If you think way back though, in different times and cultures..this was not only found acceptable but necessary. Think of all the Royal families for instance.
