Not sure about article Bri but a personal experience? Not to nitpick at his horrendous writing skills, feels like he's trying to write a 'creative summary report' of some kind.
Well anyway, I believe it. That may have come from the fact I work in the hospitality industry or the fact I experimented with drugs heavily. There's definitely some physical dependencies but more often than not it's a mental dependency, escape mechanisms etc. Feels good? I'll keep taking it, ALL of it.
Not sure about the US but you could almost say it's part of Australia's (or at least Sydney) culture. WOOO I'm out of highschool let's get drug fucked and drink and dance and things... Okay so it's not just Australia. It's rapidly become the societal norm, in a sense that if you don't take drugs you're just a loser. Some kind of hilarious stab at life that we can't escape the niches starting from school, it just escalates into a social hierachy, an accepted one at that. I deal with addicts everyday at my work, some of them are the loveliest people you'll ever meet, some are beyond help. Again it's society that brands them, isolates them.
Welp I'm just ranting on now. So in short, hate how it was written, agree with it on some level.

Great article, Briana. My dad struggles with addiction. We have always been close, but recently I've been going out and doing a lot more things with him and we've both been meeting new people and making friends. He's not used anything heavy in months and has gained some weight and he looks great. 🙂
He really helped me through my latest bout of depression too.

Probably one of the most interesting things I've read lately (and not only because I've been reading a lot of DXP posts lately)
Discuss - do you agree or do you think it's bullshit?
