What do you know about it? How much of it do you believe? Have any examples?

"I am the owner of my karma .
I inherit my karma.
I am born of my karma.
I am related to my karma.
I live supported by my karma.
Whatever karma I create, whether good or evil, that I shall inherit."
The Buddha, Anguttara Nikaya V.57 - Upajjhatthana Sutta
Karma doesn't keep track of the time. One action can be 'served' later in life, and keeping track of actions and consequences could be quite tricky.

I believe in it. Sometimes it's almost instantaneous, other times one must be patient. It's the whole 'reap what you sow' mindset. I think if one sets forth wrong it will come back upon them. Perhaps not in obvious ways, but I do believe it does. A personal example would be the ex. He decided to embark on a voyage outside of his marriage, did so. This delight he chose has cheated on him and more than once. Karma or simple poetic justice? Either way it's sweet as candy.
I think an example in general is someone who is a real shit to everyone around him or her. Then they wonder why everyone drifts away until there is no one left.

I'm perfectly o-tay bu'wheat with my beliefs. I firmly believe in 'shit happens' BUT there are also instances that make you rear back and say "Yep, had that one coming..in spades."

Another idea I have is that not everyone owns up to being at fault. Someone who took advantage of another could feel that it wasn't the case. If the victim isn't really a victim, in the eyes of the criminal, how does that translate?
I am a firm believer that bad stuff happens for good reason. But, also, playing victim all the time would give you that unfulfilled revenge.
Also, lots of times, things happen to the kids. The neighborhood gossip for example, suddenly dinner table talk because her 14 y/o daughter ran away with some guy .

For me, it's not about concepts of right or wrong. It's about understanding every side of human experience. If I've subjected another person to something, it NEVER fails that I'll be subjected to it somewhere down the line. In that way, I can feel both sides of it, and better understand myself and other people. It's about learning, growing, and being human...not reward and punishment.

Just to clear things...Karma has absolutely nothing to do with a reward or punishment system.
Karma is a natural law, not a moral law. It is a law evolving towards balance as a whole--a law of causation in which every result has a cause.
