Hi guys, I just had to vent. During the weekend I saw the Michael Jackson 30th anniversary thing, didn't even plan on watching it, and I've got to say, he is awesome. He is probably one of the best performers/entertainers the world has ever seen. If anybody deserves to be in the spotlight, it is him. It's just amazing, it's like he is this gifted human being, like he is 'chosen' in some way. What I find amazing about his man is that he is meek and mild, and unsure of himself in real life, but when it comes to the stage, he comes ALIVE and is so powerful and captivating. He had great pride in what he was doing, and the way he dances, wow, you can't really describe it. He just deserves to be where he is and I can see why he brings people to tears. He really is an example of sheer human excellence and i think it's great that we are able to see people like this because it is liberating. It brings us out of the doldrums of what is going on in the world at the moment. He puts people like Bush to shame, as he has no great characteristics. I am so glad human excellence is still celebrated in our society. People like that are a pleasure to watch and are purely talented. You really can't get any better than them. It seems to come effortlessly. Somebody like Tiger Woods is also an example of that. It makes me think that perhaps there is something we are all good at (effortlessly) and that we need to find that vocation.
He just kind of creeps me out. There's a guy who works in a pizza place near me (I think he's a cross dresser, he always wears make up) who is a Michael Jackson look alike. It was really weird, a bunch a friends and I were in there one day, and we all stairing at him because we knew there was something odd about him, and finally it hit us. He looks like Michael Jackson!!! It was weird.
I just saw a documentary on Micheal Jackson and while i dont think he is a paedophile, i think he is a compulsive lier. I mean, he swears the only plastic surgery he has had is his nose, come on... And the compulsive lier bit, i don't think he means bad
