Um besides that it isn't a legit way to make money in the long term scheme of things and that is is completely gay um yeah you could say you dodged a bullet. I used to play a lot of games with an ex of mine and honestly gamers are probably the biggest losers I have ever ran into. I played WOW for seven years. SEVEN. So I met a lot of people at conventions and blizzcon. I am so glad I decided to stop playing. I guess for me it was fun but the people we just werent connecting. Every guy in the world would like to think they are a pro gamer but even with that said the money isnt in there. Its the people who design the game NOT the players. All these guys do is eat, drink, breathe this game. Even remotely having a relationship with a pro gamer (if he really is one and is sponsored) is pretty much non existant. If you are ok with being second to a game have at it. But HELL NO. Never again. I wont date another gamer ever.

No trust me your instincts are right. The ones that make major money are always sponsored. They have twitch streams, constant product placement, and they play all day and all night. I can guarantee you the kids don't see that much of him. I used to date a pro WOW player (not the one that introduced me to the game) and ultimately he dropped out of school to go "pro". Well things change. And we arent together because gaming just requires all their time. And to me leaving college for a video game is just ridiculous. Maybe this girl is ok with never seeing him. Plus im not sure why he added you back. Probably going to spend more time talking to you than his wife seeing his ass is always in front of a computer or game console.

Ok which dork is he? And seriously I find that so unattractive. Believe me you dodged a bullet. Until you KNOW for sure he is being sponsored like you physically go and see him with his "handlers" (the company that sponsors him) it's not guaranteed. I mean for all you know his wife could be the one supporting his habit and he doesn't actually make any money or he's telling you what he would "like" to be. Almost like overachieving or letting you know how amazing he is when it's not really happening at this moment. As much as I love Leos I really do most of them like to talk a lot of shit but never really back it up as far as their personal achievements. More like telling you what they would like to see them selves doing but never really get there. And boy is it fantastic. But you really have no idea until you go and see for yourself.
Ill be honest that picture just looks like hes at a gaming house with a few other friends. Its a big thing right now the gamers living together or setting up an area where they all meet daily to play together. Its a single guy thing. Having a family would get in the way of that. Anyways in all honesty its not a way to make money long term. Just how technology changes so do the games asking for bigger and better every year. WOW, Halo, Starcraft won't be around forever. People might still play Mario Brothers or Pong from Atari but that's like saying those guys still make money playing those games. It's not a fool proof plan for life.

Depends on how 'pro' they are. Anyone can join the league and tell people they're pro gamers 😛 Only the top tier players get paid and sponsored but we're talking like competing on a world level. Not sure how it is over in the US within the country. More than likely sponging off someone else unless he's involved in organising events or doing something on the side with it tbh.

@Este - Well I have never been a gamer. But a long time ago my ex who I dated back when I was 19 moved back to Texas and his degree now is in engineering so yeah the guy is a pretty big nerd. I find nerdy guys cute but also I was 19 back then when I first met him. As I aged my tastes changed of course but he's still a pretty cool guy. So he introduced me to Warcraft seeing that was all he did to pass the time when we met up for the second time. I believe he was in a very bad relationship previously and that was his "way out". It took up a lot of his time so naturally you are inquisitive about what your significant other does since you're being pretty much ignored for it.
So I was like F it ill play too. And that was the end of it LOL! I got really hooked on it. Ill be honest it was fun as hell back during BC (Burning Crusade) which was the expansion I was playing when I joined back in 05/06. We broke up of course (he's a Cancer) but there were no ill feelings. We actually chat sometimes. He's now married, gave up gaming, and has a kid on the way. We had an amicable break just like the first time back when we met in my teens.
With each expansion of the game though the target market changed. And each time new people would join the game and Ill tell you the people just became worse and worse as the years progressed. I finally quit about 3-4 months ago. I used to play everyday after work just for fun but then when it feels like a job and people (who mind you are HUGE LOSERS IRL) are slinging their epeen around all night long you just get really tired of it. So I quit. Done.
But yes I know that it looks strange how Im very much into shoes and heels as you can see. 🙂
Not everyone fits a certain mold though. I am a Gemini so im full of surprises. We aren't ones easily classified. But yes. I will play video games but I wouldn't consider myself a true "gamer girl". Im way too into makeup, purses, heels and just being ridiculous.
I have hobbies that most wouldn't think I would have. Like I also take aerial yoga and I ride horses and not Western but English. I also draw, read, im obsessed with Pinterest, I love sci-fi (big fan of Star Wars and Aliens), and one of my favorite directors is Tim Burton.
