No lines at the grocery store, bank and roads are clear.

LOVING IT! smile
How's the rest of the Northeast DXPers doing?
from fire to ice...
ice sculptures
Schools are closed around here..
Wind chill of -17. I am patiently waiting for the salamander to do its work. My boy is at the spigot getting water as we're on a well. Fingers crossed there will be flowing water indoors soon.
Third day off work. Got bread baked, banana bread, etc. No school.
*touching wood* Hopefully the propane holds on for heat as trucks aren't running. Times like these I would dearly love a wood burning stove.
Might melt snow for dishes instead of waiting.
Is that a first time you guys seen ICE..??

Lmao..
No. It is the coldest it's been since the 1800s-early 1900s. Most single snow dump since 1978. State was declared emergency status. Next town over lost power and the high school and others opened as warming stations. 30-40 below zero is no joke.
hi lovely...smile

Dealing with that clod is my every damn year challenge... you know that... minus 20c is kind of summer to me.smile

haha
What I??ve heard was some idiot in twitter and FB suggested that people pour boiling water to get ice vortex...
REDNECKS YANKEE ONLY??_
And here is the result..

lmao??_
Hello handsome. smile
LOL! Standing outside in short pants and sandals while a brisk nor'wester whistles through your beard. May as well go swimming.
Lol Qbone, stop acting like a Scandinavian.
It's bloody spring out here in Europe. Tongue
+12C with a mild wind and sunshine.
NORTH AMERICA STOP HOGGING ALL THE WINTER!!!
No snow so far around here Sad..first winter without it.
Damnata, winter isn't over yet. We could still have a cold end of February. Winking
It's funny though. I have family in Canada and some friends from Russia where they are used to -10,-20C weather. But both froze their asses off when they came here in winter with -2C weather.
It's the wind and moisture that makes it much, much colder.
