Prom!!

Did you go or no?

If you did go, did you have fun? Who went with you?

If you didn't, do you regret not going? Why didn't you go?

I didn't go to mine, it was tonight. As of right now, I don't regret it but who knows, I might burst into tears 20 years from now wondering what could have been. 😭

I went five times. It was always a great time with a big group of friends and all of our personal dates together. We would rent limos and get all costumed up to party all night long. 🙂

I went.

No one in the entire school brought a gf/bf. It was supposed to be between..all 180 of us and it was awesome.

They video taped us ..for 5 hours. I was drunk as hell and I still haven't brought myself to watch that video.

That sucks, scorch.

My school didn't allow same sex dates either. We ended up staging a demonstration by going in drag my senior year. School officials were pretty unhappy about the event but finally changed the rule.

I didn't go to my prom though even to this day I fantasise myself in an elegant gown and dancing with Josh Owen the basketball captain, getting crowned and killing all the students and teachers my setting them on fire with my telepathic powers??_pretty sure I'm not the only person who does this

CC, I just didn't feel like going. Too much money, didn't have a date and I'm not exactly social. I probably would have spent the night by myself at the snack table. Heh.

I never went to prom, why? um... I got kicked out of school my senior year. But I've never regretted not going to Prom. But if I had the option back then, I doubt I would have gone, you know.... I was too cool for all that.

I think about the only thing I look back on and really feel like I missed out on, was having a senior picture. Which gets even more awkward, because once my sisters had senior pic's my dad decided I needed one too, so when I was about 25 he made me sit for one. But I had gained some weight during that time, so now when you walk into his house, there's these cute young senior pics of my sisters, next to a fat old picture of me. 😢 Which just make it worse.

I don't have photo bucket though 😭 lol and it's cool unless I happen to run into a creepy stalker. Wait have we met before in a forum 😉 ? haha ok hi now bye now 🙂

None of my batchmates went. We boycotted prom and told the school it was a waste of money. All we wanted to do was drink and get stoned anyway so instead of having prom, we just had a full batch party and did whatever we wanted. No teachers telling us what to do or how to behave, what to wear and who to go with. We never really saw the importance of prom.

Nope boring as hell. Why would I go to that when I could spend those exact 2 hours doing something meaningful like upgrading my computer at the time. That and I was playing Halo Reach so fuck that. Besides I hate wearing suits. I need space to breath, not chaffing my crotch trying to get free. That and the people where I lived at the time were complete shit. Hated all of them, just never said anything about it though.

you'll get asked again, never grow old and invite yourself to be someone's date lol. 1st prom with a sag it was horrible (never shower after your hair gets curled) rookie mistake, it was hot , my hair was ok but not full of life after, left early went home.
Second go around with an aries very classy look I went all out to make sure it was perfect didnt like my hair but blah lol

Thanks she just didn't do it like the one in the picture I gave her from magazine lol, but don't be sad get back on the ball and see about it next year. I've known people who went to 3 proms one girl even had her best friend come along with her. Or just dress your best and go out to a fancy restaurant, who says you cant go out in style 😉.

I didn't go-- I thought it was dorky, though I *did* go to the hotel after-parties.

I went twice.

the first time i went i cried.... coz i was scared of growing up. The second time i couldnt finish my food and went outside 45 minutes straight thinking that its gonna be the end of the world. @_@

Honestly? I want to do it again cuz I was too young when I did it. We had acquaintance parties in college though and I enjoyed those so much more than the proms in high school... I wish I could dance the scorpio chick though. If only theres a prom in law school...
