I love dead rotting flesh. We have eyes on the front of our faces. Additionally, we have incisors and canines. Guess what else shares these traits?
Abortion is fine but, men need more say in it.
I don't believe in the death penalty though. Make em' bust rocks the rest of their lives and contribute to society. No books, no TV and only enough food to keep em' alive and healthy.

I agree. Bring back the chain gangs, and put the prisoners to use. Eliminate creature comforts, it's a freakin' prison. Only the BARE minimum standards of human rights should be adhered to.
But for the really troublesome types or for those who really commit atrocious crimes, kill em.
But get rid of the lethal injection, it's way too expensive.
The guillotine gets the job done guaranteed, and fast.

I do believe in helping people help themselves, but right now in the States, we're scrambling just to sustain ourselves. There's no way we can allocate resources to yet more people whom we are gambling on making a long-run contribution to society. When the economy's better, fine. Not now.
It's like the airlines: Put your own mask on before assisting others.

Have to agree. We'd simply inherit ALL of Mexico's mess with our already stretched resources. Add to that the conflict about who'd run what. You think Mexico's leaders are just going to hand their power to the US?
Not to mention, the drug wars/cartel issue wouldn't be resolved - it'd just be shifted downward, because the same shit happens in other central and South American countries.
How about land mines or a huge electric fence completely lining the border? 😉
A lot of mexico's problems are caused by America, though. The drugs are not being exported to Colombia, after all. They're consumed by Americans. Additionally, a large part of the problem in the US being able to stop the flow of drugs is an inability to get co-operation from Mexico's corrupt police force. Working from the inside, they could take over and rid the force of the truly vile; and of course, workers who are compensated adequately are less prone to corruption.
Apart from some misguided sense of ethnocentricity, I can see no real reason it wouldn't work. Heck, even the ethnocentrists could have less to fret about as Mexicans in Mexico havea lower birth rate than Mexicans in the US.click to expand

Not really imo. Stop giving blank checks to the DoD. Force the president to actually DECLARE WAR and not just commence. Close down the vast majority of our international bases. Make immigration easier. Legalize Marijuana. Most importantly, audit the federal reserve and place STRICT regulations on the printing of currency.
Oh yeah, and make the other countries in the UN actually pull their fuckin' weight.

Death is a difficult judgement to pass. But, seeing as our society is bound by laws, I wouldn't object the killing of repeat offenders.

What would you suggest? Remember that our prison system was initially supposed to be reformative. Its already been proven that it doesn't reform a damn thing...most of the time it hardens criminals. So, considering the facts...our prison system needs to have a more punitive aim.
Also, its already proven that a possible death sentence is not a deterrent for the criminals that are breaking laws in that league. So, fuck the death penalty and reintroduce the "Gulag." Except without the death part. A life of backbreaking labor with zero pleasure in it is an awful tall glass of water for even the worst criminal.

most of it seems pretty simple, yet auditting the fed would accomplish nothing. the damage is done. the situation is so severe that even if we went back to a backed currency such as gold, and we had all of the gold in the world, it would knock off maybe 1% of the 77+trillion world debt. what you will see happen-and ive posted some videos about this- is the same fucks who created this massive hole, will offer a new currency to us. im not sure how we would fix it if we dont accept, but i have without a doubt that we would be better off not accepting what THEY offer.
