I'm looking into getting a toy. I've never bought one before, never even really been in a sex shop. I started looking online and I find all these nice looking ones, nice shapes. Their cheap too, like 20 bucks or so. Then I see the material is rubber... And I'm thinking well that can't be ideal for the kitty. So I start googling and holy hell! There's so much I didn't know!

From what I gather, not only should the toy be made out of 100% silicon, it should say medical grade or platinum grade as well. Anything else is considered toxic and can be harmful. I'm very sensitive, I know I would have a bad reaction. I'm sooo happy for Google!

So my question is... Does anybody have any good experiences with online sites? Any reputable places? Any places to stay away from?

Also... Glass seems to be highly recommended. And easy to clean properly which is a must for me. I guess I think it would be too hard, like it would hurt. Any glass toy experiences? Do you prefer one over the other and why?

I've always liked babeland.com... It's great for beginners as they are very helpful, both online and in their stores (staff were always friendly).

Since you are new to toys, I would recommend sticking to well known brands, first. It's great that you guys are doing the research.

Sid adameve is bad! That's the site I was on originally with the rubber toys. They do also have glass but that's their only options. And I'm not sure about glass really.

I used Adam and eve years ago. I havemt used it recently. We have a store near me called Pandora's Box. I've been going there.

Cleaning is important no matter what type of toys you play with, it's also usually very easy. Glass is nice for the temperature changes it can do. Yeah it's hard, but it's sex toys...hard is good. You're not gonna hit someone with it, it'll be fine.

I would boil it personally. Glass is cool, I think just hot water and soap would be good. I mean, there's no anal gonna be going on. And just me using it.
