Family routine at the time was to bring coffee in each other's room if you happened to make it. No need to ask in Italy, we always want it if there's some.
He was in his studio and didn't notice I was with someone so he stepped into the room and caught us!
Then I remember he looked at her in the eyes and said something like "You shouldn't be embarassed if you like my son, be proud, it means you've got great taste!"
Best dad ever.

Me and bf got a tad frisky on our way to his place after clubbing and there were table and chairs next to a hedge in front of an appartment building that looked inviting. On the other side of it, there was a rather large non lit copse. So we got behind the hedge and against the table and went to work. After about ten minutes, the copse is suddenly lit with moving electric torches. They were everywhere! I swear, that copse was packed with cops and before long, a couple of torches were pointing straight at us. Needless to say, we aborted the mission and ran.
Next day we could read that the police were chasing a drug dealer in the area, so luckily, they were more interested in him than in catching us. Weird, neither I nor my friends have ever seen a drug dealer in that area before, so I guess the first one decided to go there just for this occasion. ๐
