heh. I'll tell you how small the world really is. I met my brothers best friend after 10 years outside of a professors office during grad school. The last time I saw him we lived in a different city half way across the world when he was 9 and I was 12. I never heard from him again.
I heard his name being called out and then I asked him if he ever remembered *my brothers name*. You should have seen the look on his face. Poor guy. Then of course I said I was his sister blah blah.

Why did I randomly run into him at the hospital over the weekend while I was visiting my mother?! It was so crazy. He came to NYC unexpectedly because his mother had to go into the hospital, so he didn't get a chance to tell me about it. I don't even live in the city anymore and he lives on the opposite coast, and yet our mothers were at Columbia Presbyterian, a rather large hospital with quite a few buildings, and still we manage to run into eachother on the damn elevator no less lol It was so bizarre. Not only were we in the same building, but our mothers were just a floor away from each other, and get this, were in there for the exact same reason. Totally crazy.
Anyway, just wanted to share 🙂
