I think it's interesting to note that when I go looking for videos and clips of the trial ... that all I can find easily are ones relating to how Zimmerman acted in self defense ... and not any relating to why he got himself in this situation in the first place.

There's a reason why he found himself in a situation where there was an altercation .... but, the discussion over this reason isn't readily available.

Makes one wonder .... here are clips from the actual courtroom ... but, are ALL of them available to view? Or, just a select few, for purposes of slanting perception?

You missed the point of this thread .... this thread is about how we are being manipulated to believe a certain way, due to being fed certain information.

Take your feelings out of the situation and speak from your mind

Their wasnt any feelings displayed in my post, its just the truth..

and yea i noticed what the media/court is trying to do,which is why i tend to focus on the 911 conversation.

Noticed that too, didya—
Thank you for the clips, P-Angel.

Something else I notice about the media - the way they twist what was said into meaning something entirely different. Sometimes, even a lie. Caught CNN do one such example yesterday when they misquoted Di Maio as saying a man could stand without a heart for 15-20 seconds instead of 10-15 seconds. This was text overlay on the moment he was saying it. Overzealous in their theatrical dramatics "journalism". sheesh.
Another thing is how they conveniently cut away for breaks when something someone says really puts a wrench in their gears. What happens the viewer gets distracted by advertising garbage and what was said is hopefully forgotten if it was heard.

Dennis Root appears to be another excellent witness. We'll see.
IMHO, public defense teams should have access to the same caliber of witnesses and attorneys as those
who can afford them. I genuinely believe that.
Also, everyone involved in a case from beginning to the moment evidence is handed over to the jury.
Anyway, thanks.
🙂

Oh.... btw... the 911 "HELP!" tape , there is the call Zimmerman made to dispatch.
The dispatcher told Zimmerman "We don't need you to do that" when Zimmerman confirmed
that he was following Martin. (need written transcript)

1) dispatch did NOT forbid Zimmerman from following Martin. they just told him "We don't need you to do that".

2) Whether Zimmerman was following Martin or not, at that point appears to be irrelevant. True, he could have chosen to go back to his car, but against better judgement, he apparently chose to continue walking. - even so, we can say that from a hindsight perspective.

3) No law was broken when Zimmerman continued walking to the point where the two meet face to face.
That he contacted Police, I am of the opinion that in HIS mind, he was trying to deal with this legally. HAD he NOT called the police, then a whole different picture of Zimmerman may well be discussed.

Anyway... random thoughts.

Taking a look at the picture above, they make sure to put in a pic of Trayvon flipping the finger ... don't you think there are probably 100's of pics of this boy in existence?

By putting a pic of him signaling, "fuck you" is for purposes of slanting perception.

If this 17 year old child was self-absorbed and loved taking a lot of pictures of himself, like ellessque for example, naturally there would be a lot of pictures.

here's a fact for you.

911 dispatcher's words are not binding by law.

in other words, he can go if he wants to.

And there's consequences behind every action you choose to make, and the end result was him killing a person because he choose to follow him when he was told not to..he's not the police and the kid wasn't in the act of commiting a crime when he was approached by zimmerman...these are facts

you can't prove your life is in danger just because someone is following you.

the only one who can prove his life is in danger is the guy who got his head beat in against concrete.

Whether Zimmerman's life was truly in danger, the decision made to pull the trigger is based on
the fact that Zimmerman BELIEVED his life to be in danger at the moment he pulled the trigger.

That's the part that hasn't been addressed and I think it's going to be pretty hard for ANYONE
to prove that Zimmerman did NOT "BELIEVE" he was about to die.

In war, it's either you or your adversary. It's survival of the fittest.
Zimmerman is described as unable to fight and he probably already knew this, so, he compensated for his poor self-defense capability by means of a firearm the a weapon of choice.
Nothing wrong with that, women, the disabled and the elderly do that all the time.
Nations do that all the time as well.

Sometimes, gut instincts will put a person on alert as to whether they are being followed.
IMHO, I think it's a case where two people thought the other was a threat. Both parties "assumed"
each other a threat, reacted according to their thoughts and made an ass of each other.
I believe the root cause of this tragedy to be more psychological/emotional oriented than
just physical evidence. There's no dispute that Zimmerman killed Martin. Zimmerman, himself, hasn't
denied it.
