We are lead to believe that we are the descendants of apes.
Conventional science at schools still avidly teaches their students the Darwinian theory of evolution, based on linear evaluation of species, built around natural selection, survival of the fittest, genetic mutations, and finally, we humans at the pinnacle of evolution.
Science also says that there is a —connecting link?? between us humans and our forefathers who lived on trees. Yet, nobody has ever found that connecting link!

Only a myopic fool (atheist) thinks that something as advanced as DNA happens to exist by mere chance.

Well... actually...

"The 1953 Miller-Urey experiment, for example, simulated early Earth's atmosphere with nothing more than water, hydrogen, ammonia, and methane and an electrical charge standing in for lightning, and produced complex organic compounds like amino acids. Now, scientists have learned more about the environmental and atmospheric conditions on early Earth and no longer think that the conditions used by Miller and Urey were quite right. However, since Miller and Urey, many scientists have performed experiments using more accurate environmental conditions and exploring alternate scenarios for these reactions. These experiments yielded similar results - complex molecules could have formed in the conditions on early Earth."

I think this is the experiment that I remember reading about years ago where this group of scientists basically recreated what they thought primitive Earth must have been like and then introduced electricity to the elements to replicate lightning from storms. They discovered that the foundation for single celled organisms could be created that way.

It's not the physical materials that are the real mystery for me though. It's the animation of them. You can have a perfectly healthy working body but no soul to occupy it.

God used the process of evolution to create the planet and everything on it.

He did the same thing when He designed the zodiac and the star/planetary alignments.

Science explains the "how" questions, whereas God explains the "why" questions.

I daresay this is the first time I have ever agreed with you, but in this case... I really do.

Well said!

Have you observed a perfectly healthy body unoccupied by one of these soul things?

I would of thought being brain-dead?

Brain death cannot be declared so long as the autonomic functions continue. If someone is brain dead, they are on life support, the removal of which will result in their imminent and nearly immediate death. A perfectly healthy body must be able to survive without mechanical assistance.
