What’s the weirdest or worst experience you’ve had in an Uber/Lyft ?

Has anyone ever been in an accident in one?
He was rubbing his junk ovrr his pants on the drive
I never went to oovoo javer.
When we were in New Orleans this dude picked us up his like 2002 Impala with trap music blaring and he had clearly just finished his blunt, and it smelled like trash weed

Tried to roll down the window but it didn’t work

Tried to make convo with him too but he straight up ignored us

I legit thought we might be driving to our death
Random Ones

-Uber driver wouldn't unlock the door when I reached for the back door, & pointed to the front. I know sitting in the front for cabs is common practice in other countries so I was whatever maybe he just started & hasn't been here long.

-Grabbed an Uber to the airport, me & driver shoot the shit and he tells me he just came to the States last year and he used to be a model in Jordan. I give him my card and tell him to hit me up if he wants to get back into that industry. Homeboy texts me a month later & I arranged for him to meet up w/ my old boss & mentor who runs fashion shows. He's now modeling here.

-Took an Uber from a suburb 40 min. away from the city. As soon as I hop in, dude looks at the destination and start complaining. I say, "if you don't wanna drive to the city, I'll get another Uber. Let me off right here." Driver says, "FIIIIIIIIINE I'll drive you.", drives for about a block, pulls over and takes a piss at a playground. Driver comes back in the car & asks if I'm gonna vote (this was Oct 2016 & the elections were coming up) and I was thinking oh fuck, I don't want to have to sit here for 40 min. on some political shit, and he proceeds to complain about illegal immigration & other things that don't affect him directly since he lives in bumblefuck. We get to my place and dude just won't shut up & the more I keep trying to cut him off, the more passionate he was getting about the topic. I just get out of the car & he keeps yelling random shit. I go, "I'm not voting for Trump or Hillary, VOTE LEMON PARTY! LEMONPARTY.ORG!" I'm guessing he's the one who knocked my rating down to 4.7.

-I was on a business trip in Kansas City and I walked from my hotel in Leawood, KS trying to find cigarettes. I walk to the nearest gas station about 15 min. (walking) away and apparently they closed at 9PM(!?!?) but the pumps still operated. I call an Uber and ask the driver to just find me somewhere to buy smokes and just take me back to my hotel. We start talking and I tell her I haven't had any BBQ out here yet. Not only did she take me to a convenience store to buy smokes, but she takes me to a BBQ joint that was still open and I told her I'd buy her dinner since she said she hasn't eaten since noon. We ended up talking and eating & she takes me back to my hotel and to enjoy my stay in KC. I'm checking my phone at the hotel bar and find out she ended the trip the moment we got to the convenience store. That was very sweet of her.

I used to be that way but depending where you’re going it’s way nicer not to have a car and have to worry about parking etc

so you don’t go out with friends for dinner and drinks and then go out out for like party drinks etc?
Only used it when I went to Romania. otherwise I just drive myself or get a rental. I don't drink so I don't need to worry about that.

We found out we could have gotten some of the driers in trouble when we force tipped them, apparently its illegal to tip over there.

drinking and driving??

I use one like 2xs per week.
Gbff once convinced the lyft driver to end his shift and come party with us. He drove us home for free off the clock.

It sounds impressive but bar is literally 2 mins from where we live so.... saved $ 3. Winning!!!
I’m afraid to get in cars with strangers but I have a lot of weapons

I drove for them for a little while tho. Someone who rode with me accused me of being drunk, high and smuggling drugs...

Now you musr so you’ll be one of us. 🤦‍♀️
I've never ridden in either. Somehow, I feel like I'm not truly living.
One guy accused me of being a computer hacker and stealing money out of his account, and asked me who do I work for. The other tried to date me, meet my child, and come up to my apt. and get cans of coke. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Only met him when he took me home from work.
I only used uber during the last 6 months of them operating here. It was a generally pleasant experience, except for that one incident where the driver passed me twice, kept going in circles for 20 mins.
I used Lyft once to get to the airport from my dorm and it was fine. My driver was really nice even helped get my luggage and backpack in and out of the trunk. Which I felt guilty about cause it was really heavy and I was intending to lift it.

I used to drive for Uber though. No bad experiences with any passengers and I always got rated highly so I guess they were satisfied too.

my "worst" experience was living in KC. The night before, I'd gotten a flat tire, towed my car and needed to uber to work.

At 6AM, pre-coffee, I am not a talker. My driver was fully awake, eyes sparkling, full of questions and anecdotes a few decibels too high for me and his voice was making me want to kill him. It took everything I had to be polite to him and signal that I'd prefer him to stfu and let me stare out the window...

Ugh I hate morning people...worst people ever

I married one lol

This sounds credible, report it next time, these types of drivers (more likely) will continue on making the company vulnerable and other riders. They know rules and laws! Dont bring the street life to work, unless your willing to defend it. simple.

I did and they gave me me money (Mr.Krabs laugh) back for the trip so I know he totally feels like I hacked him 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣. When he picked me up he even asked if I lived where he picked me up and I told him no I think so hopefully he isn't stalking me smfh.
I used to drive for them until I found out a safer job delivering for Amazon. I will take and uber if I need to cause my car is in the shop or I'm going somewhere I don't want to have to deal with traffic and parking.

As a passenger I've never really had any bad rides. One guy was going a little to fast and it was a little scary but it was a short trip so it didnt last very long and they were really nice. I've had some quiet ones but since I have been a driver I understand that sometimes you just don't feel like being chatty, especially if you have had a rough day with passengers.

As a driver... whew. People are fucking crazy, rude, stuck up, inconsiderate, nasty, and perverted.

I've had guys hit on me. Ive had couples invite me for a 3some.....once it was a group 4some or 6some.

One guy wanted me to go into the strip with him because he didnt want to be alone and offered to buy me dinner.

I had a group of guys pay me $ 20 to show them my tits. Yea I did it cause I was broke and desperate for cash at the time. That was probably my lowest point.

I had a drunk guy pass out in the back of my car and I barely got him to get up and out of my car. His friends left him like that after I dropped them off. He lived in a gated community too and the guard was an ass I almost left him at the guard house.

One guy asked to stop at Taco bell (note to passengers we HATE going through the drive thru for u) anyway he asked if I wanted any and I politely said no but he got me a taco anyway and then forced me to eat it, then he started hitting on me and when I dropped him off told me his gf was home waiting for him... I think he was the first guy I wanted to kick out of my car.

I've had a couple ask me to come inside and smoke weed with them. Seemed ligit but didnt want to end up tied to a bed in their basement.

I've had ppl bitch to me about other drivers.

There is more but those are the highlights I can remember.

When I started Uber/Lyft my mindset was set on my rides being in complete silence because most Taxi drivers I encounter understand the business thoroughly to know when to speak, when not to

(ie phone calls, texting, writing notes) they understand social ettiquette and the rules.

So when I switched everything was an adjustment. I now am more understanding for newcomers but there is a disconnect imo between the male drivers and female drivers. I find the younger ones to be tactless, lack seeing the business angle and they dont try to understand a females view when they want to be dropped off a block away from xxxx address they take offence to it yet refuse to acknowledge where its stemming from being gender, feeling uncomfortable by thier actions or this one may sound harsh their brand of vehicle

(a shallow concept, yes I know, but true none the less from females Ive talked to, always think business first in mind, place of work and so on) The older the more sensible imo. The ones I frequent share some of the most hilarious stories, lively indivuals Ive crossed paths with in life, that they kinda grow on you - you just want to know they made it home safe and vice versa.

Hack is too strong of a word it's more likly he'll be reviewed and asked to take some classes to correct the negative feedback. Your feelings were valid concerns impov.
