The reason why I am posting this question is because I am very curious whether a lot of people here on dxp are ambitions and goal oriented.

I will start with myself. In a period of 5-7 years I see myself as more professional lady, possibly being a Chief Executive Officer of a Bank; Married; Have a kid; Be perfect housewife and mother;

.....and you Ladies and Gentlemen?

one of my exes was a genius financial analyst. perfect gpa all though out college. she is 27 now and has an okay position at jp morgan. it's a man's world and it's hard to trust a woman with your money. at least that is what the old guard believe because of the emotions put into investing. though men have a lot of ego into it as well.

Where do I see myself in 5 to 7 years time.

Too busy having too much fun at my own cafe/bar! I've always wanted to become an artist and I still do πŸ˜‰ I've also wanted to travel around the world more often AND I STILL DO. And I think all these opportunities will come true and realistically speaking probably in 10+ years.

So in terms of work I've been whoring around, getting basic knowledge of the inner workings of running a bar, running a cafe, from an owner's perspective and worker's perspective. Definitely stashed away a lot of money that belongs in the DO NOT TOUCH section. I wouldn't consider myself rich or have one of those nice life style s but I'm willing to sacrifice a bit to get there.

Recently helped a couple of friends start their own businesses and it's really given me a lot of confidence that I CAN do this πŸ™‚ So if you guys are all around then, free drinks on the house. Just don't all come at once please lol.

I will have 2 or 3 Snap Fitness gyms by then and each will be running at full membership capacity and I will be travelling. I'm opening Number 1 in June πŸ™‚

Congrats! I'll even crack open a bottle of champagne in June when you do. It won't count for much, but I'll do it! haha. Big things ahead.

Thanks, I'll be sure to announce it, I'm just waiting for it to come out of council now and can't wait to start my 6 weeks pre-sales πŸ™‚

Maybe you can do a feature article for me to advertise in a local mag here πŸ™‚

Yes it is and the founder is from the US. It is a 24/7 gym, mine is 410 sqm and they are taking over in Australia and NZ and globally. I'm coming to Vegas in October for the Snap convention there...really I'm coming to shop but it's a great excuse and tax deductible πŸ™‚

In 5-7 years time, first of all it'd be nice to still be alive. Inshallah πŸ™‚

Other than that, have my magazine in circulation in print in at least one territory, and have written three books.

Not asking for much eh?

I learned in my own time that setting time limits to certain goals can actually stop me from achieving them. So I'm a fairly big believer in serendipity nowadays. I think that's the spot where ambition meets humility, for me (only speak personally for myself - by all means I think it's great when people have goals that work for them).

Tiziani,

I am wishing you all good luck and If you need someone to help you with the design of the magazine, Im IN!

πŸ™‚ Glad to hear from you.

Now that is definitely something I can do. Maybe not immediately if the deadline is within the next week, but in the week after next for sure. Give me something brief to work with/the general theme you want to get across, when you're ready, and I can expand it into whatever kind of article you want.

Sure thing, I'll take you up on that πŸ™‚ As I said I'm waiting on council so I can't advertise anything until I get the green light. After that we have 6 weeks of pre-saling the memberships while the fit out happens so once I get the green light, I'll put something down for you to play around with. I intend to have a feature article in the local paper there but would rather have a bit of input myself than just allow then to run with it πŸ™‚

Thank you...I'll have to send you a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate with us on Opening week πŸ™‚

I see myself in a software architect role, or being on the business end more. I don't see myself in management though, I still don't think I'm a management person. This could be possible though. I probably will be looking at buying my first property, and have some sort of functioning investment by then. In 5 years I think I will be settled into a boring family life in some way. I do think my dating life will fall in place, so I'm not so worried about that. I'm more concerned about my career and finances. I believe that I'm keeping up enough with trends in the market enough to still be able to make a decent living. However I think I'm at the point in my life presently where I'm weighing my investment options, as well disciplining my money management. I am getting to the point where I'm slowly becoming more financially responsible, and I should have a good amount of money saved up in 5-7 years. I do have a feeling the woman I end up with will have a fairly different personality than me, but someone who was a heavy partied like myself. However she would be at a more settle down point in her life as well. I still have some party years left in me, but I've been slowing down as of late.

the last three sentences seem like the Aries guy I used to like or i still like, not quite sure. Hes 38 yrs old, handsome, millionaire, looking for normal wife, and he still thinks hes young to get married, wtf!!?!

Anyways, I am wishing you tons of luck. Management is not for everybody, indeed. There are times when you get bored of dealing with people and their personalities. I unlike you, love it more and more.

I also wanted to mention that in 5-7 years I will also be in a corporate job like I'm in today, but I will probably be transitioning into starting my own business as well. I'm not sure what type of business that will be, but I do believe I'll probably be doing part time independent consulting at that point.

Bravo, I do also want to get involved into the real estate business, but in my home country.

You could be in control of a private, small back by proxy at that age IMO. It would be near impossible but still achievable. They'd never give anyone the outright title but you could have that kind of control. My friend was only 23 when he got his way to partner at a private bank. But a really comparatively small bank. Interesting clientele but not really the kind of money under management that would put tremors into the world.

Is this for me Tiz?

OOooh sweethearts I almost joined a Snap fitness, but then I went with Anytime Fitness which is also 24/7 and close to my place. I only just joined because I really need to kick my own ass into gear! Now I wish I'd known you worked for Snap, you may have been able to persuade me otherwise haha.

Hun, if you are close to mine in Tweed Heads I will give you a great deal!! Anytime are contracted and $ 1 more expensive than Snap. We offer no contracts and are cheaper...but if Anytime is closer then maybe that was the swaying factor for you.

Get into the bootcamps, I'm currently doing that and loving it, just finished a session tonight πŸ™‚

Not just young women; young men too. For PR issues, a bank CEO is often older to give the impression customers' monies are more secure.

When asked today during my interview where I saw myself in 5 years, I told the director I saw myself in her position.

I remember once when i had a fight with the CEO, she told me I am too small to torture myself with things I shouldnt and I said no I am not, and when she asked why is that i told her the same thing you told that lady. I told her I will replace her after she retires (and she has like four and something years until her retirement), she smiled and said " Oh kiddo, you dont know what all you will have on your way to get here" ... Pff...

Good response overall, πŸ™‚

Good luck for the job.

HMMMM....

Ugh well I plan on opening my own practice and I'm hoping that I'll be able to back investors by that point or have saved enough to go independent.

After that it's all about management of the home life. I have an idea of the type of home that I am seeking to purchase, a long term purchase actually. I'm willing to put work into it to make it the home of my dreams. I want something large enough to support a growing family (we don't have children yet) but I want something that will be large enough when we decide to have children.

My Virgo tells me that in three-four-five years he expects and wants me to have my first child lol. This is his timelines by the way, but I agree. I like that he plans these sorts of things in advance, far advance. I agree though. I'm almost ready to have children and when I do I want many, many babies. Maybe three or four---more if I could afford to or have enough time to properly raise them babies.

I also want to be back to a size 4---I'm currently a size 6.

I want to incorporate walking my dog more...I feel bad about that, I really want it to be a constant daily thing. Not just every other day...she deserves to go for walks and I love her.

I want to take on gardening like a Martha Stewart pro.

I want to be involved in a catering company, I love food!

I want to become more involved in my community, especially vendor street food lol.

I'd like to try one dangerous thing----anything.

I want to repurchase the family cabin and land------and bring it back to life.

Wishing you tons of luck Madame, πŸ™‚

The reason why I am posting this question is because I am very curious whether a lot of people here on dxp are ambitions and goal oriented.

I will start with myself. In a period of 5-7 years I see myself as more professional lady, possibly being a Chief Executive Officer of a Bank; Married; Have a kid; Be perfect housewife and mother;

.....and you Ladies and Gentlemen?

Still crushing it every day! *flex*
