What makes people like certain things on others?
For instance, a lot of girls like British guys, I also noticed a lot of people like british accent etc.
What about the type of music we listen to? It depends on my mood, and I can enjoy many different types of music, but I never like country, or electro/trance music. How does that factor in?
Does any of this stuff really have an effect on what we like or are we just genetically programmed to like certain types? Does any kind of environmental influence have any control over this?
I'm puzzled by it.
Then there's my classmate, who is mongolian ( was born and grew up in mongolia), yet he likes to listen Irish folk music? I just find it fascinating.
hahah^^^
there must be some psychological theory that explains it. but that could be,too. :p
It all depends.Sometimes were attracted to things we lack, sometimes familiarity yields attraction.

Country music IS pretty shitty, but then I don't know much about it to begin with.
