i wonder...
because in truth and in all honesty, i am a very honest person.
but being a lawyer, i am well-aware that i'm not speaking for myself but for the people i represent. if they want to lie in court, i don't have a choice. that's the professional thing to do. as much as possible though, i tell them to be truthful so they won't encounter problems/issues during cross-examinations.

When you're honest yourself but still not "trusted" despite your honesty, what makes the other person? Cynical? Or jealous?
