Lets say u were stranded for cash, a place to stay, etc. Would u do any of these following things..
1. Prostitute yourself
2. Be a stripper
3. Sell drugs
4. Have a sugar-daddy

If no, then what do u think of the people who do those things to make ends meet?

Well, i almost did all of those things except the dope dealer part. When i was 19, i moved in with my then pregnant (unemployed) cousin and her alcoholic employed boyfriend. I was also unemployed btw, just finished matric the previous year. Long story short, the boyfriend didnt want me there and made my life a living hell, wont go into details. During this time, an older guy (age 42) was after my lumps (lol) and i was considering taking up his offer, he was rich, but i didnt want to be a man's dependant so i put that on pause. I then met two girls and became friends (sort of) with them. 1 was a prostitute and the other was a student but a stripper by night. They made good money. I was doubtful about the prostitution thing because i have sex issues, but i was willing to try for the money. I got over that idea very quick when her other friend came back with one nipple, a drunk client bit it off. The stripper thing didnt happen also because im kind of shy, i would have died on stage with fright, lol. Throughout all that i ended up being a waitress at a place called La Pentola in Pretoria owned by the Suvage family, french/italian couple. The money was good but the uniforms were skimpy. I got over that pretty fast though because i have developed an insatiable taste for money, lol.

What are your thoughts guys..

No. Go to a shelter, a local church. Find a really nifty blanket that wasn't overly crusty and sleep beneath a tree. Go dumpster diving for dinner behind a restaurant.
As to my opinion..do what you gotta do, so long as no one gets hurt. Therefore drug dealing, never and no thanks. Stripping..har de har, not even when I had the figure for it. Sugar Daddy, nope. i just told my friend about it she said her neighbor was doing it for a while. he said the money was good too. he was making $ 300- $ 400 a night.

i did well on most of the techniques but i couldnt deal with the spinning around the pole. i had a sore ass for weeks trying to do that.

Librasid, he was coming out of 1 of the classes at the studio place, there were different classes all over the place, yoga, bellydancing, etc. It was my 1st day and I asked him for directions, thats how he ended up knowing.

I had a flat stomach until i stoppen then my muffin top returned with vengence, lol. Im thinking of doing it again, but there will be no middrift exposure this time- my stomach reminds me of corduroys, lol. Pregnancy ruined me. Hehe

The funny thing is that, at the bellydancing class there were only 3 guys among the girls and i think they pretended to be gay. When she did the shim-shims with the snake, they just stood there in stupor and watched her, lol. It was funny.

i still do it to keep my stomach flat for the wedding. i love it though. it like an outer body experience, you can close your mind to whats going on outside and shim shim shake....

hey layna, i found my classes at the community center near my house. the pole dancing was just once a week for me. it is challenging on the body and it does build your confidence. if your not mechanically inclined like us be prepared for bruising and soreness...lol. your bf will love the result tho🙂

For me it was 2 times a week. I work at a hotel so they leave these kind of things for those who have interest, thats how i found out about it. Before, i thought pole dancing was for strippers, never knew it could be taken as a hobby- how wrong i was, lol..chem, u say u couldnt do the swing around the pole, the only thing i found impossible to do was the 'vine', the clinging upside down while u slide down. I have done no 3, but not cause I was strapped for cash, just to make more cash than I already had 😄 Greed is not a good thing! AND I would do no 4, as long as I didn't have to sleep with them. Some of my friends are strippers in real classy places, I think I'd do it if I was confident enough, but then again I dunno, maybe I wouldn't? who knows!

Nemesis, these kind of choices depend on your enviroment. I lived in pretoria-west and most ppl there are either 1,2,3 or 4, even a combo of some of them. Like i said, i ended up doing none of them. Where abouts in S.A are u from i u dont mind me asking?

So is sunnyside (in central pretoria) and hillbrow (central jo'burg). Why do u think the majority residents of those places choose to do what they do? Because of their enviroment, easy access to those things because of the area they live in. U mention to anybody that ur from those 3 places and they'll start asking if u do drugs or dabble in prostitution. Im originally from east london btw, im familiar with p.e since its just nextdoor and i know places in p.e which are infamous for crime amongst other things. Why do u think the young men of those place like kwazakhele choose a life of crime instead of walking dogs?
