I can't deny this world has seen it's share of pain and bloodshed, do I discriminate myself? I do. That saying of not judging a book by it's cover is a nice saying but one I think we all fail to do in practice. The difference to my belief to yours is that I don't believe in Utopia, the mere fact we have difference of opinion is testament to that.

If we were to eliminate everything you said in regards to the human genome I doubt we'd be classified as intelligent creatures anymore. It is our ability to reason first and foremost and the adaptation skills to survive and hunt that got us to where we are today in opinion so for whatever that made us great to me is also what makes us our own ultimate demise.
