my first year here i would try to give advise and found most would rather be told they are right in their assessments and not want to really hear what others tried to suggest. I limit how much advise i pass out now tbh. Most people don't want to really hear it.

One of the hardest things to learn here is to see past the fluff and BS of basic Sun sign read-this-to-feel-awesome-about-yourself astro. A very large part of the art revolves around reading your darker half. All the nitty-gritty things you don't want to know about yourself and can't admit.
It will get easier as you get older. All those fiery feelings that keep you awake will fade. And things like boys passing in the night won't matter so much.
