Spots

Spots are how we smoke in NZ. Not everyone but it's pretty common. You need 2 bread knives and a beer bottle and a gas stove. The bottom of the bottle is broken out, and the knives are put over the hot flames. You roll up a nuggie about half the size of a raison into a ball and heat the knives up. Then you use the hot knives to pick up the spot and press it together, while another has the bottle and inhails the smoke. Red hot steel burns the bud intensely, thick smoke comes out and is breathed in through the bottle.

Feels good man, try it.

That's called a Hot Knife over here or a knife hit.
Hot Knives in the UK

Nasty for the lungs 😫
Why though? I feel like more heat equals less potent bud. Like you want to smoke it at a low temperature to preserve and consume as much THC as possible. Maybe I'm completely wrong though. I'll be honest I don't really like smoking anymore because it hurts the fuck out of my lungs. I use to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day, then after I finally quit cigs smoking weed was rough as fuck on my lunges. Like I cant do dab or concentrate because it's way too intense. I'll literally get an infection for days. I rather just take edibles nowadays. Though if this was 15 years ago, I'd be trying what you said 100% lol.

It works well, the knives are hot but the inside of the bud doesn't catch fire like a cone, it just gets burnt nicely. It's efficient.
