Who else excited to see this movie? I am all warm and fuzzy inside watching the trailer, and I look forward to seeing it with my sister and/or boyfriend. Big Grin I really do enjoy stories like this.

it has grown on me the more i have seen of the trailer.

I don't tend to do these types of movies, but i will go see it when it comes out smile

I'm excited too. Have you read the book?

I haven't. I just learned about this. Perhaps I will wait to see the movie first before I read the book. It goes against my usual movies-based-on-novels watching philosophy, but I'm not taking this too seriously (like I did the Harry Potter series :p.)

Have you read the book? Did you enjoy it? Do you enjoy watching movies based on books?

Girlie movie night out! *^____^* Your inner feline will love it. I really hope it's an enjoyable movie.

It better be good.

Yes, I hope so, too. It'll be a nice break from all the animated movies and super hero movies (which I also enjoy.) But sometimes I like to watch a movie that doesn't involve special effects or murder.

I've always had a soft spot for these type of movie. I just stopped watching them because I know I can never have what they have

Yes, I've read the book. 'Me before you' is probably one of my favorite reads. It brought me to tears and had me thinking about life. I usually don't watch too many movies based off book but this one is a must. I'm going to try my best not to analyze the movie and just enjoy it.

You have just made me even more excited!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the book, and I will definitely give it a read as soon as I'm finished with my Steinbeck novel.

I can relate to you. Enjoying the movies for what they were was my biggest challenge when the Harry Potter movies first came out. Once I made up my mind that the books are there for my to re-visit, and that the movies where just an interpretation of the books, and a quick way for me to enter that Potterverse, I enjoyed them a lot more.
is it about vampires?

the laws of attraction says I want have it. I surround myself with negativity to push the negativity back onto the negative people that force me to be negative to protet myself. So I don't know. Some people just can't be "helped' and that's me.

The very fact that you made these observations means you will create a surprise ending for yourself. You may discover that just as you can use negativity as a protective shield, so can you use positivity. You're username alone indicates that you envision something else for yourself, even though you might be too shy or nervous to admit it to yourself. ❤

Am reading the book Lilly....brilliant ... i fear the film would spoil it somehow?

Books allow for much more imagination

smile

Yay, another person recommending the book! Big Grin

For sure! But I'm thinking that my mind will be very accepting of the book fixing the changes the movie will no doubt make, as opposed to watching the movie and thinking about the details that were altered and overlooking. Lol, I'm trying to be calm about this and just enjoy the ride. :p

I don't have a tv or go to the movies any longer.....books have become my lovers lol......the imagination runs wild.....screens kind of pale in comparison for me

But let us know what you think

Sure thing! ^___^
UPDATE: I went to see the movie tonight with my boyfriend. He and I enjoyed it very much. We went to a theater that has the big seats with the foot rests. We put up the arm rest so that we could sit together. With season almonds, Lindt chocolate truffles, and juicyfruit, we were set. I was really into it, and he also enjoyed himself. It was a breath of fresh air for me because I didn't want to see an action movie, a movie with lots of special effects, or a movie with violence. We were able to just get engrossed in the story. The movie sparked good conversation that we enjoyed en route to dinner. Good times. ❤

I loved the Lou (the main female character), and I loved her wardrobe. I was dressed in red tights, a navy blue dress with little birds all over it, colorful canvas shoes, and a red hat. I carried a red cat-shaped purse. So I related a lot to the main character and longed for articles of her various outfits. Big Grin Definitely worth a watch. I am sure it doesn't compete with the book, but it was entertaining in its own right as a movie, so I look forward to reading the book.
