I saw this today. It was ok- I actually enjoyed the fight scences better than the love story, lol- I'm not much into violence but these were good- and a new hottie for me to look out for- James Franco- he's an Aries by the way. I didn't find him attractive in the first Spider Man movie but movie makes him officially a hottie for me.
I think the next movie he is in that's coming out is Annapolis- don't like military movies that much but may be willing to go see this one just because of him.
I'd say go see this movie- it's a good love story and the actions scences are great.

i REALLY wanted to see this movie. but i dorm and i don't have a car, nor license, and our theatre closes at 7:30 pm, which is freakin retarded. and they stopped showing it. it was a quicky for them, i guess. but it looks like a good movie and i heard a lot of good reviews, too. i dunno.
the commercial did it for me. it got me interested. it also made me think about my boyfriend. aww i miss that lil sadist.. lol.

I'm very excited to see this movie. I get so into the whole "passion in antiquity" thing. lol.
I've been waiting so long to see this. I've heard only good things about Tristan and Isolde, so I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. I've heard that it's one of the best love stories to come out recently, so I can't wait to see how it compares to some of my other favorites, like the Notebook. Also, I like James Franco, so I want to see how he did in this movie!

This movie was pretty good acutally. Compared to most 'crap' that comes from Hollywood these days, this movie was decent and enjoyable.

I just recently saw this, and I must say that I was a little disappointed. I mean, I still thought that it was a good movie, but perhaps I had my hopes up too high.
But anyway, I thought that Isolde was a little selfish in some scenes, and I thought that Tristan was too prudish. That's just how I felt about the movie, but I did kinda re-watch it twice after the first time, so hey.. not TOO bad of a movie. lol.
i only saw this movie up to the point where tristan and isolde began their secret affair, then i stopped. i can't watch someone betraying their friend.

I really liked this one. It was romantic without being sappy. The whole betrayal thing is hard to watch, but it's something that happens (unfortunately)...and for the period in history when people weren't nearly as free to choose who they felt like being with, it only follows that things like that would have to happen. It's unfortunate. But, I really identified with their passion for each other and almost the addiction to each other that they had.

dude, i just showed this movie to my sister and she's so freakin' crazy about it! she's like in love with James Franco now LOL it's so funny. i actually liked him better in other movies -- i didn't think he was any extra special in this one, especially since he seemed a little personality-less.. i don't know why. but whatevers.. i'm over it.
(but my sister sure as hell ain't.. LOL)

Haha...he's definitely easy on the eyes, but yes his performance could have been a little bit more emotive, I agree.
