Do you think anyone band or singer will get that big again? The bands that were even remotely that big while I've been alive were Guns'N'Roses and Nirvana. And now would be the perfect time for a band like that to come out, with all of the crappy music in the rock world right now. American music was so bad in the early 60's, it's no wonder that the British invasion was so easy lol. I was hoping bands like The White Stripes, The Strokes etc.. would take over the rock scene but that Nu-Metal crap is still being pushed as well as that sensitive soft rock like Coldplay.

I don't think they will ever be topped; they were too uniquely good.
Yeah, I agree with Pheonix. It definately won't happen soon, at least. Maybe someday.
There won't ever be an Elvis, Beatles, Led Zeppelin or Jimi Hendrix because they were the revolutionaries. Before them we had some rock n roll but not like when they were around. Now, we have rock and most of the music we have today has been influenced by the past bands. Someone would have to come up with a completely new style of music that is universal in its appeal.
