Posted by hydorahWHOOOOOOOAAAA what? I've never heard anyone say that about Bad, given how well liked "Bad", "Smooth Criminal", "Dirty Diana", "Man In The Mirror", & "The Way You Make Me Feel" was with "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" and "Another Part of Me" being minor hits. Was it the change from that Jackson 5/Motown sound to pop rock that didn't do it for you?
I'm thinkng most of MJ's album BAD falls into that category. You could say the album's tite was very relevant.

Posted by UrsaMediocreprecisely. No one (me included) ever dared question the musicality of MJ because he was such a big star, and the music style was new and kinda difficult to read. But looking back, I think most of MJ's post-thriller music isn't that great.Posted by hydorahWHOOOOOOOAAAA what? Posted by hydorahMakes sense and I can agree to a certain extent in terms of his best songs being before Thriller, although one of my Top 5 faves was in the 90s. I think Teddy Riley co-producing & co-writing had a lot to do with it.Posted by UrsaMediocreprecisely. It's not because of the change, I am ready to accept change when it's good.click to expand

That hook is so tone deaf, they had to bring in Busta to save the track.
"This was the jam back in the day though!" Yeah, but those vocals are shite, c'mon now.
