Trying to understand a spiritual gift....

Ever since I was little I could discern peoples character. Never knew what it was always thought I was being judgemental. Well about a year ago, I went to a physic who told me that I had a gift. That on my fathers side there were 8 generations of witchcraft. I was stunned and shocked never knew this, so I asked my dad. He confirmed what she told me about our family history. Since then I have met this man who I am connected to spiritually, he gives me energy when I need it however, just came to find out that he is a warlock. I don't want to be connected to him anymore, I don't want to use my gift for bad. Does anyone know how i can disconnect from him and bring energy myself?

Well I can hear the dead talking at times, I can see visions, I can sense peoples feelings, I can read people very well. When we are together my gifts intensify. Sometimes the energy is so strong that I have to ground myself and channel the energy up like a shield. I have asked him to disconnect but he says no that "the Elders" have called us together. When we are together I can feel the evil standing in a distant watching us. The things that I have sensed from him is dark and bad. I really don't want my gifts to be used in a dark way.

I thought a warlock was just the term used for a male witch? I maybe wrong...

Cause he has actually killed people through the spirit realm. It's really scary..
