Dogs.....Inside or outside?

I cherish my dog as much as any other person in my life. I will always keep him inside with me and outside when he wants to go out. Unless I am outside (However he doesn't mind much) What does everyone think? Inside or outside, what does everyone think? I only ask because of these neighbors I have, they think their dog should be outside even though it obviously wants to be with the pack (Family).

Inside of coarse.. A dog is a member of the family and should be with the family.. I used to have a neighbor who had two addorable dogs that she left outside 90% of the time, and they seemed so lonely to me, I used to let my dog out to play with them through the fence.. They would chase each other up and down the fence, barking very loudly!! They would usually let the dogs in to stop the barking!! hehehe!! 😉

I have a golden retriever...he's not small by any means! He stays inside. I have to brush him a lot...and vacuum a lot, but he's worth it!

Inside with me unless i'm outside to...although i do let them out in the day time when it's nice out..not to hot...they are my husbands. lol

Depends on the dog,some working dogs don't make good pets and should be kept outside and unsocialized by humans.Can't think of the exact breed but your only suppoesed to give food and water to them and let them live with sheep from the time they're a puppy to make that type of sheep dog better at thier job.The sheep are basically viewed as the dogs family and will protect them more that way than if it views humans as its "other".

I think that pets of any kind, but especially dogs due to their nature, should go with you where you go. They will love you to a fault and always want to be with you.....my family has a golden retriever who will follow my mom around all day long and kinda freaks out when she can't come with. I think it depends on how you view your pets- some people view them only as pets- they have the same feeling about them as they do about other posessions- the TV, the car, the pet. But I think most people have their pets long enough that they become part of the family- nothing wrong with having them with you 🙂

ahhhh, as a Cancer, I would never let my doggy stay outside without someone to play with...but since I don't like Dogs, i'd rather have a cat...or a guinea pig 🙂 Which I have....1 guinea pig...the other one dead ;_;
