Okay so I have a cat named Nemo, and his over a year now. And when I first got him, I took him to the vet and he was neutered and got all of his shots. I noticed that after he was neuterd he started urinating all over the place, and smell so bad. So I took him to the vet, and the vet stated that Nemo had a urinary tract infection, so I paid for him to squeeze some fungus, or something of that sort out of Nemo. And it was fine for a few weeks, he also suggested I buy CLAVAMOX for him in which he was charging me way too much for. So I decided to purchase the medicine from petmeds.com. My cat is still urinating all over the place(still smells really bad, and crying all day and night. Any suggestions? Perhaps some of you may have had this experience. I was just wondering is there a type of food I should feed him? At the moment I bought him dry food that has cranberries in it, along with plenty hoping that it would help. I was thinking perhaps I should feed him natural foods. Any home remedies, before taking him to the vet and perhaps spending unecessary money especially if there something I can do.

My cat had cystitis a couple of years ago, he was peeing all over the place and mewing with pain whenever he did so. When I took him to the vets, they took a urine sample and it showed up crystals. I was feeding him dry food at the time, IAMS, but the vet said this was too salty for him and he recommended Go-Cat Indoor Cat food. The vet gave me some anti-biotics for my cat and gave him a shot of an anti-inflammatory while he was there and it cleared up after a week, and since I've changed his food he's had no problems luckily. I read that cats are pretty susceptible to cystitis.

I would switch doctors ASAP.

My cat once had a utc. I bought him to the vet right away and they gave him antibiotics.

UTC can be very serious.

While I was at the vet a girl bought in a cat who had a utc except she was to late. His stomach was very hard and had to be put down. I felt bad for her because she was crying and so was the vet's assistant.

The vet said if I would have waited 1 or 2 more days the same could have happened to him.
