Billy Pilgrim... The Quintessential Pisces.

Not sure how many people on here have read Slaughterhouse 5, or any other Kurt Vonnegut stories for that matter, but if you have you probably have noticed how so many of the protagonists in his stories are pisces. In Slaughterhouse 5 the protagonist is Billy Pilgrim, a WWII veteran who is aware of the fourth dimension and is really chill. The book basically follows him through his life in which he ends up helping tons of people by not doing anything but accepting those who come to him. I think that overall the book is about how cooler heads will prevail and to that extent it is, in my opinion, an exultation of Pisces.
Vonnegut was a Scorpio and reading his works I get plenty of Scorpio vibes, mostly in the from of criticism and mistrust. Someone said on here that it is the mission of a Scorpio to open up and trust others and to that extent I think Vonnegut's frequent use of Piscean protagonists and their exultation was his way of opening himself up. Views?
Wow thats the first Neil Young song I have ever heard and I had no idea he sounded like that lol. But I really do sometimes think a good Scorpio artist is the best, at least to my Piscean tastes. Maybe it is because once they open up they release really charged energy that is really inspiring. Another great example is John Lennon. Who gives a more responsible, cheer up listen than John Lennon? With the exception of Bob Marley...
The way I look at it the signs of each element progress through their stages like Pokemon. Each element looks for fulfillment in some way and progresses to better achieve that. I think the water signs look for spiritual fulfillment. In the case of Scorpio and Pisces they are like polar opposites that combine really nicely. scorpio is all condensed within itself and longing for fulfillment where as Pisces is really diffuse and either accepts that there is no real fulfillment or is driven insane. This does not mean people who are pisces are better than scorps though. No one is purely one sign. Personally I think Scorpio is the coolest sign.. either that or Sagittarius.
@DJBuck I second the question as to why you think of Montana as being a Virgo?
lol. No Pisces would be more like a trap card. Like Charizard's attack gets turned back on it.

In what ways is the upstream Pisces the "most evolved" water sign? How could any sign be more evolved than another? And what does "evolved" mean, anyways?
Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware that Pisces are the COOLEST sun sign (as are the Scorpio best moon and Sag best ascendant signs) Tongue
But seriously, I'm wondering what sort of astrological backing there is to this statement, or if its just an opinion?

Because as we travel around the astrological spectrum, the signs and elements evolve. So for instance, Aqua is the most evolved Air, Cap the most evolved Earth and Saggitarius the most evolved fire. Similarily, Taurus is more evolved than Aries, etc. This has nothing to do with being cool. hehe
At the end of the day, Pisces is the most evolved sign--even if people don't wan to admit it. *shrug*

But what does "evolve" mean? Like the literal definition is a gradual change from something simple to something more complex. By most evolved water sign, do you mean most complex?
And I know it has nothing to do with being cool. I was joking. Except I wasn't, cause Pisces ARE the coolest Tongue

I think a simple explanation is how each sign through the zodiac represents a stage of life, this is a known concept, Aries being the first sign, is characterized as the infant, innocent, yet unknowingly self centered, Taurus the toddler, Gemini the Child so on a so forth. Pisces being the last sign represents the afterlife, the last and final stage of life, so in this manner is considered the most evolved.
This is not to say it is without it's short comings like every stage has, i.e. our spacey demeanor and tiny obsession with misery.
