Buying my second car.

I'm considering buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer for my second car. I originally had a 2002 Lancer. However, I need a new car because my little putt-putt is at 104,000 miles and is failing. The mitsubishi dealership is willing to give $ 5500 for my 2002 Lancer. I know this is a good deal, but I want a car that's going to last awhile because I drive along distance to my job every day. Plus I heard Honda Civics are good on gas. I know my boyfriend is going to be so pissed with me since we're trying to move down south later on this year.
I'm going on the Feb 22nd with my brother.
"I am a big HOnda fAN....! These cars last for ages!"
-I know my dad and my step brother both had honda civics and they lasted for at least 10 years.
"if gas mileage is the most important hondas"
-Trust me it is!!!!! I could careless about being stylish. My job is 41 miles away from me. I'm going the auto show A.S.A.P. I paid my first car off 2 years ago.
I have so many memories in that car Winking.
Whose very young?

PP is same age as one who says she's very young?

wtf?

Maybe I'm confused.
PP, I think Honda has the best re-sale value.
Not sure about Mitsubishi's ....... so exciting getting a new car smile
Just think about all the new memories you have to make Winking

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Don't do it! the 2009 Lancer is a clunker with low maneuverability and should not be used for everyday driving. The Lancer Evo yes but any other Lancer NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Trust me.
And for everyone who said to choose the Honda Civic or Accord yes. You guys get a cookie.
The Lancers are nice and that is a pretty sweet deal. I don't know much about cars, but of the ones I've had, my Toyota Camry was the most reliable and it ran FORever. I nearly put 300,000 miles on that thing. It would probably still be going if I hadn't totaled it. = /
DK my friend I would llllllooooooooooooooove to by the Lancer Evo, but its out of my budget.
