Dating a Pisces...

Do you find yourself talking about ridiculously deep topics? Such as a bad time in your life, the death of someone close to you, ect?
Just curious. Ive always been really attracted to Pisces. But.. In particular, this recent Pisces I'm seeing started to talk about (long and in detail) their mothers death and how they got to the hospital to late before she died.. The first time we went out.
I've never made it past the "dating" stage with Pisces. They always come off so sad when I get to know them.
Is this normal? Would you just do this to test someone or is that just how you are?
And also, what are your thoughts on Geminis?

@88 I think that depends on the other aspects in his/her chart. I know I'm not like that at least. I think it is just a weird combo. One makes the other feel awkward? I have a few good friends who are pisces. Never more though. Oh good, you think it's weird for anyone to do that too lol. Maybe it's just the Pisces I've been seeing that have been like this.. lol 😱

@Eusive You mean least in common with each other or with other signs? I think both signs are pretty good at relating to people in general.

Geminis are too emotionally weak to be able to handle a Pisces ... the Fish usually sends the Gem off crying, or angry, or jealous.


Yeah, that's a big turn off for Pisces

It's showing who I am and at the same time just testing.
If you cannot handle a few deeper discussions, how will you ever last with me.
Not that I go that emotional and deep/serious all the time, but I want to know you're ready for it should it happen.

It's a way to make sure we're not wasting our time with you, should our eyes ever glaze over and we go into 'deep' mode.
Seen it too often that it freaks out people but why would you date me, if you only find out this about me after weeks.
Better upfront and in the early stages 🙂

Plus it's funny sometimes to watch people squirm as they have no idea what to reply, when a smile is all I want.

hmmm, seems like it's always the other signs who end up sharing things with me that they 'normally wouldn't be sharing' (as they put it)...

but yes, it depends on the pisces (and their mood, of course) and the question....

like something as simple as being asked

'do you have any kids?'

by someone could cause me to simply say:

'no, not really'...

or i might, without reason, just totally drop an extremely powerful, overly detailed emotional bomb on someone about when my baby died...

you just never know with us...

i cant stand that 'weakest sign' shit...every sign has equal strengths and weaknesses...our 'detachment' and 'disinterest' from most things is what creates this perception from others...and the other signs just don't like how we get down when it's time to defend ourselves or retaliate or what have you...and i think this is mainly because of how we were at the beginning, all nice and passive, etc...it's almost like we're 'not supposed to' be acting 'a certain way'...if that makes sense (to fish it will)...

and...

one thing i read somewhere along the way (and i can't remember where for the life of me), that i will never forget, but i love to say is..

never underestimate your 'reclusive violet' fish...

Yes. Except in my own experience it was me telling Pisces stuff. I must have said something and her reaction was comforting so I shared more. I don't remember exactly how it happened, but she opened me up so much. Mine doesn't like to share her own problems or talk about them too much unless she's referencing something that is in the past and already resolved. Anything current she just keeps to herself much to my disappointment because I want her to know she can talk to me about anything.

but yeahh...being family - it's not a helpful constellation at all. rather contrary. because we expect a certain degree of tolerance and understanding at least within one's very own circle - but in actuality, there are no birth rights lol.

I avoid them like the plague or need a huge tank of happy thought ready, before spending time with them drains me of all joy. Family is the worst since you're suppose to just take it.
Some days I can and others days I snap right back. Surprise!

Lucky it fades very quickly for me, but my mom for instance.. woo she drags her grudge a long time (Taurus).
I got over the whole thing like 30 min after the affair, she keeps at it for days and gets me angry again.
Why can't they ever let it just go?

nope they wont let you off the hook, many years can go by and when you least expect she'll come up with things I let go of & wanted to never mention or remember... But she has to say it... grrrrr
by the way she is Taurus w/pisces moon and at times she says these smart-ass remarks and then laughs.... makes us super mad....

It's so annoying how she has this huge file on everyone.
When she's pissed and you're the one nearby, she opens the file and swings away.
Exactly what you said with 'years later' even still.
Makes you wonder sometimes how much it's on their mind..

I see your mars connects to your sun and your moon to your venus. Moon/venus is nice, particularly in pisces, it would amp up your sensitivity even moreso. In a way the sun-mars contact should help you offset it some, even in pisces. Your moon is *exactly* conjunct my sun. What's your ascendant?

just going to update this because it was so long ago:

ironically, i am with a pisces man now. ive been living with him for a year.
shit is cray.
its a struggle to be parallel when it comes to how we think or our overall communication(he is way better than me at putting feelings into words). and honestly,
we argue every day because we both feel so strongly and are pretty fucking stubborn.
he is a bit of a downer the majority of time, like i said before about pisces.
however, he's my downer/ the best thing to ever happen to me. and oddly enough, ive never been so attached or felt so "right" as how i feel with him. 🙂

I've only had pisces friends, however I think I need to find me a good pisces woman. I like they have depth and our deep. The ones I know , we can have massive deep conversation one minute and be crazy clowning the next.

One of the main things I enjoyed with my Pisces "friend" was the deep conversations and understanding. We could tell each other anything.

Dating a Pisces? Just leap off the tallest bride you can find. Especially if you're a Gemini.

the only true difference ive seen between a gemini and a pisces is that geminis dont care about a lot of things or dont try to give explanations to things that are, in a pisces mind, critically important. pisces try to read others because they believe they are the best at doing so. but, i think they fail pretty hard when it comes to geminis

What do I think about Geminis?

I have a few Gemini friends, but only one that I'm really close to. He is a true friend, and I love the shit out of him, but sometimes I feel like he takes advantage of my kindness. He's fun as a barrel of monkeys, but he's also EXTREMELY talkative, confident, and hyper, which is weird for me as a pisces; he just has an ungodly amount of energy all the time. But we're both potheads, and we get along really well, especially when we're blissed.
