Would you date someone, who is terribly out of shape even though you are in great shape?

What if they look better in clothes, or do not look as out of shape in clothes?

I think if he was really nice, and smart and kind...just a lovely person. I would easily look past it.

They would need a killer personality.. But I supose It wouldn't matter Too much it would still be in the back of my mind tho.. I could work with it all the same... Vigro flaw detector... I can't turn it off sometimes.. But I would be tactful at least..

I could get over less-than-fit, and would prefer too chubby to too skinny, but not extremes like obese or anorexic ... that's a sign of unresolved issues. But I am an active, fit person and would prefer my significant other be the same ... I'm influenced by those around me and it's good for me to date a guy who cares about his health and fitness, it motivates me more.

My ex Aqua hubby never went to the gym ONCE. He didnt look bad, just really skinny. I looked past it because he had other things to offer. The Aries Im dating now is skinny as hell too. Its almost a turn off to be honest. He never eats! He could stand to gain at least 15lbs. LOL..but he is sooo awesome. Im gonna have to force feed him.

That's a good question I think that you see in a person are the physical traits first and then u see the rest.I like working out,that doesn't mean I wouldn't date someone that doesn't.I tend to look at the persons face first and then body. I guess I would want someone that cares about being healthy.But if I'm attracted to you that means u got something I like weather your skinny or chubby.

For me it doesn't matter. I'm into personality, heart, intentions and all that jazz. No to be attractive is a plus, I'm not talking about body I mean more by face. I don't really like pretty boys, I like normal looking guys. When I point out a guy I think is cute some of my friends are like him?! Serioulsy, really? You don't mean the guy behind him?

I'm kind of slender and short 5' 4" so a guy who isn't shorter than me is a plus. I'm more into looking internally than body fat. I really don't care about all of that. Plus if a mermaid/mermen is in love...we think of our partner as perfect in every way, including the belly. 😉

............. moderation. kewl you have a tread mill, most girls @ the gym use the stairmaster like crazy. I've always been super toned until I got down and really pigged out, I was like 220lbs. It felt like I was drowning and I would get winded from running up 3 flights of stairs😢 my back hurt alot. So I have a small peak into maybe what an really overweight person feels like. I didn't much care want people thought but when I felt weird about being in public and me dying in my sleep I knew there was a real prob.

I would have to be attracted to their body. I take relatively good care of myself and I.expect that in my partner as well.

I considered dating this guy I know but was not attracted to his self-care. He is thin and a vegetarian but he's in rather poor health because all he eats is junk food and is too lazy to care for himself properly.

I prefer tall and skinny, but, Kevin James....come here to me! I think men get away with being over weight more than women, but all kinds of people like all kinds of sizes. As long as he and I have a connection as someone else put it is all that matters. He has to be attractive in my eyes but it can be a number of factors that makes him appealing to me.
