even neptunian people seem to be night owls. why is that?
I'm an all-the-time-owl.... however my schedule seems to take me. Sleep is a severe waste of time to me until necessary.

During daytime, "life" gets in the way of my dreams. At night is when I let them soar uninterrupted; when every one else is asleep and no one is around to call me a "space cadet." PSH!
Seriously though. My creativity kicks up at night for some reason.

ahhh, i can see that. kind of like driving at 3am in the morning. clear road for clear thinking.

I enjoy being the only person on the road at 4am.

wow, our post were so much in sync
No matter how long I sleep, if I wake up in the morning, before 10 or 11, I just can't function. So, I stay up late and sleep in later. Also, most of the time I just get distracted by things, and it ends up being 5am before I even notice.
Pisces needs a lot of time alone ... I mean an excessive amount of time.
Where most people are super dependent upon others, and in so being, have a NEED to be around others all the time, the Fish isn't like this ... they are natural recluses.
so, at night when all the campers are safe in thier tents snoozing .... we are finally left alone.

If people were out all night long and slept during the day, then we would be day owls. So, it's not the time of day, rather the opportunity to be alone, to ourselves, without the phone ringing, without people dropping by and disturbing us.
I know that probably sounds wierd to most people ... but, we really would prefer our own company most of the time, and prefer to be left alone.
Yep! smile
Especially if I need to get a project done, writing stuff down, solitude time, brain-storming time..all in one. Time to myself, in my universe.
all of your responses are sooo interesting. especially the part about being alone and really at the end of the night is the only time you can do that. i also had no real clue that from the fish POV, the rest of us are so clingy and want so much from the fish and sometimes the fish just wants to swim alone.
i guess you guys do lose track of time with all the thinking. i used to think it was the fish just hanging out watching mindless tv but your really daydreaming or thinking intensly. i must admit, ive yelled at a few fish for hogging the electric bill and just staying up all night long! i guess im being inconsiderate and a tad selfish. wanting to cuddle/fuck with you n bed. your magnetic fishie Tongue
i wish i could believe that time is relative but ive yet to meet a fish or neptunian person who didnt stay up all night long. smile if only our time clocks were the same.
@nemesis, there is something about drifting off on the couch all day right? i can relate.
my midheaven is in pisces and i do enjoy working early in the morning or late in the evening because of the silence. i can focus on myself and not feel obligated to endulge others.
dammit. i wish id asked these questions months ago
Nem - do you undserstand yourself better now? Lol

Many *heavy* neptunians need a lot of solitude to process the mental stimuli they are inundated with on a daily basis. A great deal of us have poor-to-*no* mental filtering systems, making it very easy to become confused and overwhelmed. Neptune diffuses boundaries, and so we readily perceive anything/everything with which we're presented, and from a multitude of perspectives. It can be difficult at times to discern which is truly ours.
Nightly shadow-time seclusion grants us the opportunity to properly digest our cerebral and heart-rendered proceedings.

Ninjafish puts what I'm saying better. That "nightly shadow" as opposed to night itself.

i keep forgetting that pisces absorb emotions from everyone.
hahah absolutely - I see it so clearly now!
The picture depicts it perfectly!
how do you guys feel when your partner gives you shit about it?

Yeah - it's very draining to have someone try to impose upon you what works for them, or what they deem best.
@Nem - I'm doing alright miss! Things aren't too bad at the moment, nice reprieve. How are you??
Would you ever change or is this a non-negotiable? meaning that, this is something that is innately apart of your well being/personality/etc
Posted by Nemesis
non-negotiable! why would you want me to be somebody else?

so its apart of your psyche?

hiya nem! i have moon, venus, saturn, uranus, and neptune in the 12th house. i very much relate to all of you as far as extra alone time to think, dream, create, etc. i feel my best at night. smile

wow exo. very neptunian!!

dmv, i think it definitely needs to be understood by others so there's no confusion, though i'll always make time for lovers/loved ones regardless. smile

yeah im just trying to understand the fish better. i cant seem to avoid the, so i might as well learn who they are smile
Pisces Ascendent with sun/moon/mercury/mars/pluto aspects to Neptune and Jupiter in the 12th house.
Bring on the night! I usually sleep for a few hours in the evening and then wake up to start 'my time'... midnight on... I get my best ideas and revelations when everything is dark, still.

Time alone is without a doubt a necessity for our well being. No compromise.
If I don't have a solid 2 consecutive hours a day (preferably much more, 5-7 is ideal) to myself, and just myself, I won't be able to function properly the next day. No exceptions. Not even for the cat Tongue
Beautiful, healing, peaceful silence to just BE. smile

yeah i think the 5-7 is what it turns out to be smile
My ex Pisces was very much a night owl...he used the time to be creative in writing and playing his guitar.
I'm a night owl as well but for different reasons

And just to make note, I'm not putting blame on those who gave advice, I'm just saying I should have relied on my own intution. Man alive, did I ever have to fix a mess.

I'm glad you clarified that smile
Might I add, it's helpful to take a somewhat fate-driven approach to these sorts of things sometimes.
I'm a firm believer that things happen to us exactly how and when they are most productive to our life experience.
It may be a negative experience that was going to happen in one way or another - regardless of action, to teach us something about either the world, or ourselves. It might be a positive experience in the same light.
Short story cliche: If it's meant to be, it will be! We exercise our choice and free will in the process, but all choices ( + and - ) are built upon until we wind up somewhere that we are satisfied with.
hahah I do this ALL the time Poisson!! Soo funny!
