I closed my eyes most of the movie. At the beginning, when that guy had to rip himself apart .. my eyes closed and every time I tried to open them, something gross was happening.
The twisting of the murderer was the best part .. it really freaked me out. It wasnt' really gross .. just the idea of it gave me the creeps.
I'm with you, though, it wasn't as good as the second one. In fact, the best part of these movies is the twist, the trick, and we already know that it's a game and that were going to get fooled, so that part of the mystery isn't enjoyable anylonger because the audience already knows that something is going to happen.
Amanda (Shawnee) ended up being a total whimp and that was a dissapointment .. she was suppose to be replacing JigSaw, she needed to be more of a psychopath.
They set it up for another one .. but, I think we're done with the Saw movies.
We did see another one, The Skeleton Key, with Kate Hudson. That was really awesome ..
