Was he a typical tortured soul of a Pisces?!?
Not typical considering most pisces have other elements besides water making up thier charts but would fit the bill as a pisces better than most.Check it out:

I have a similar chart as his.
Kurt Cobbain was a Pisces *SHEEP*
...and he was a rather typical one too.
Wauw, that's a lot of water signs in kurt cobains chart, only one or 2 aren't.
Poor soul.
I have Sun, Mars and Venus in Pisces.
They either useless planets or you all just suck.
he wrote good music....not sure if he's typical, he seems like a Pisces gone wrong....
"he wrote good music....not sure if he's typical, he seems like a Pisces gone wrong"

Pretty typical for sure.
As for the music.... errrr no comment.
If it were not for Kurt Cobain I probably would have no interest in alternative music. Listening to Nirvana opened a huge window for me musically. Say what you want but I think he's awesome. As far as being a typical pisces-I really cant say.
Ok
2 sharks swimming in opposite directions:
he was a shark who steadily swam down............some of us do that till you find us floating at the top gills up, and you get the net and flush us down the toilet and no one really knows what happened.tsk.tsk.tsk what a waste.
Artistically speaking - I think allot of us Pisces have felt artistic temperament at one stage or another - Personally I have had to battle the "downward spiral" - I think most Pisces would have felt that at one stage or another. Is this linked to feeling others emotions - was Kurt constantly bombarded by others negative emotions?
Okay, wait a minute ... I thought Kurt was a capricorn ?????
Nope 20 March smile
Scores: Fire 0; Earth 5; Air 3; Water 15!!!
Poor Guy!
**SMACKS Pisces Ass**
we still playing?
Rascal!!!
just for that you get a DEAD - *% O+# SMACK - ARM!!!

When a band sells the amount of records that Nirvana did, they're no long alternative. They were pretty mainstream.

"I'm not sure when complaining became actually art or took actual talent"
When you make music that appeals to self abosrbed teenagers who think they're the centre of the universe, you stand to sell a lot of records....
Wow! and I thought Pisceans were understanding?
2 sharks swimming in opposite directions;
Listen to the first line of Heart Shaped Box Kurt was certainly aware at least in part of some of the astrological demons that haunt are particular sign. While astrologically speaking he displayed many of pisces character defects,he had the freedom to choose hoe he wanted to project himself. He was very artistic, all of us are(pisceans)are in some way or another very sensitive, overly so,ditto and he was split loving the adoration and fame and hearing himself on records and at the same time detesting the adoration and fame he tried to make inUtero as ugly as he could (Rape Me)two fish swimming in opposite directions. Hell of a guitiarist, tear his voice to shreds giving it to ya wish I coulda caught him live. I remember a Saturday day night live show launching himself into Daves drum set crative genius is to kind and inaccurate. He said it best "what else could I be,all apologies"
I do not condone negative behaviour & I detest the week Piscean traits such as addictive personalities and lack of responsibility for actions taken (not in all Pisces obviously) - however in his case I think that he was controlled by his emotions & didn't have too much of a say in his final action - I think he was ill. His music was a sensation thou so you have to give him some sort of credit & even if he did know what he was doing - it may have been in that one moment where he could not see the light at the end of the tunnel that did him in. I don't think Courtney helped either. God knows really.

I guess i have little tolerance for those who are mired in self-pity. There're millions of people in the world who had a life much harder than him. He had a child to raise, but continued on a course that endangered his life, effectively abandoning his daughter.

..aside from which the mention of the name 'Nirvana' really ticks me off. Nirvana's songwriting was very simplistic. We're still stuck with the consequence of their popularity, - bands who think three basic cords makess up a song, and kids who learn to play guitar accordingly.
I think he was a typical Pisces. And he doesn't sound like a cookiemonster moaning to me either. I think his voice, especially on MTV Unplugged uncovers that pain and depression he was suffering from. He was a hurtin', talented guy who thought there was no way out when there actually was. Crying

Keef Dave Grohl was the only talent in that band. Junkies who pick up a guitar are going to sing about misery. I really think it is rather grandiose to assign this trait to Pisces.

Dude, my sentiments, exactly. Dave Grohl WAS Nirvana. Without him, there wasn't even a band, because he was the only one with talent.
Rock on Foo-Fighters
haha, i don't even want to know what branh has to say about conor oberst. =].
The foo fighters don't even write about anything. They put together the chords and right before they go to record they string some lines together that don't mean anything. At least the junkie had some pain to express in his songs. I have some major compassion for his drug addiction. Yeah it was stupid to start and hard to get off. People make mistakes and they shouldn't be judged on them, its much more than his herione addiction and death that made him famous.
Dave Grohl is so cool he wore a purple turtleneck sweator for mtv unplugged.
The question that nobody seems to agree on:
Was it murder, or, suicide?
Most articles will say, suicide . . . but, most people claim it was murder set up to look like he killed himself.
The most likely culprit, C. Love.
Branh0913... yes he may not be very talented... but he was HOT and thats all women care about smile... a guy may be a bummer but only if hes got 'HOT LOOKS' he rocks... pretty much how men think....they go for look then brains smile
You got a point, Eliza. We're all like that, aren't we?
Men will absolutely drool over a beautiful woman who has no brains, no talent; and visa versa.
So, if Kurt was a Kurtessa and still as hot looking in the female version, Branh would be singing a different tune.
You go girl, Eliza. Keep on probing away into the truth.
I got your back.
So, let me get this straight . . . if you had the opportunity to fuck them, then you'd back down off your principals and buy the albums?
Looks aren't worth the money if there's no talent. However, their kitty open wide is?
lol, Branh, do you hear yourself?
What kind of music do you listen to? And, would you buy their music?
'...I would fuck them, but I wouldn't buy their albums..'

LOL.... branh0913 you never know TongueTongueTongue.... you might fall for one and hey when your in love you want please your lover....Virgos like to please their lovers TongueTongue
I guess i have little tolerance for those who are mired in self-pity.
I would pity anyone married to Courtney Love.

So it is a romantic gesture to buy their albums
ofcourse it is... i mean if i love a man i would buy his albums.. i mean how else are you going to support them if you dont buy their albums... its a way of expressing your love and showing how proud you are of your lover that you spend soo much time on
listening to what he has written and worked so HARD on...

you tell me Branh0913, if you write and compose songs and your GF never bothers to listen to them ... how would you feel??... dont tell me you wont feel a lil' hurt coz i know you will....
he killed himself.
Anyone who has something stupid and cruel to say about Kurt needs to throw themselves off a bridge.... thanks have a nice day
lmao, well this certainly cheered me up!
JINX! Tongue
Posted at the exact same time as me, nooooooo!
lol I know, but I've had a shitty week as it is don't need any bad luck coming my way! Tongue
Nah, I have a new job yay! Start tomoz can't wait. smile
lol Newbs eh.
She probably just googled his name, saw this, and just had to sign up to say her piece. Really though, what's the point?
This is a blast from the past. My old user name was Febfish27! I forgot the password Sad
I can relate to a person needing to end it .. especially a person who had so many ghosts.
Yup that was me, its still me I suppose.....
I can relate as well P, thats why I dont see suicide as a negative. We arent asked to be born so why not get to choose when and how we leave.
Stupid is harsh. If anything my comment makes a lot of sense. Your life belongs to you, not anyone else.
You cant quantify not having an "easy life" with the mind of the suicidal. Its more complicated than just wanting to "jump off a bridge". You cant relate because you obvliously have never been to the depths of despair and viewed suicide as an option. It makes sense to me, and it obviously make sense to the ones who died by their own hand. I dont expect you to understand because that would require an ounce of emotion I suspect you dont have. However, I do expect you to accept it as an option and a reality for a select few.
"If life is yours, and you own it, then it's up to you to take control of it."
Though i do totally empathize with those in mental despair, i have to agree, suicide is selfish ..life is not all about you. It's the relationships you form, the people who love you and count on you. When you die in this manner, you leave a deep hole that everyone else has to live with, deal with forever; it's not the same as sickness or accident. *For the most part, life (is) what you make it. Cherish it, warts and all, because somebody somewhere always has it much worse than you. And ALOT of people die every single day who would've wanted to live or would've given anything for a second chance. If people are severely depressed, they should seek some kind of support or council. There is (always) hope..
I would say that his vibe represented the mutable vibe no doubt.
