Leads or resonating strings?

I'm not particularly musical, so bear with me...

A wise old man once told me that in this world exists two fundamental types of people: those who play the leading melody and "resonating strings."

I often wonder which type is which when meeting people if it's not abundantly clear at the outset. And for myself, I can be both, but am predominantly a resonating string, I think, because of the Pisces nature that dictates I am here to help others along on their journey and nurture/care for them above everything else.

So, fellow Pisces and anyone else - what are you -- do you lead in life's melody or are you a resonating string? And would you change that, assuming you were able?

Well, I think secretly, when it comes to our own lives and how we conduct them, we're definitely leads - partly because we're mostly such off-the-wall, quirky people. Which makes other people follow our lead. I often hear my friends using phrases I introduced them to in conversation, so I know they pick up some of that quirk.


But when it comes to people I love, I'm more the string...picking up on their vibrations and playing them back, for better or worse. Which is probably why I do so much better outside intense relationships rather than in. A fair amount of distance allows not to confuse my feelings with what I'm picking up from someone I feel close to. If that makes sense.

Oh, DC, I wasn't meaning it in terms of relationships only. But yes, in any type of love, family, friend, relationship the shift is often natural, imperceptible and always necessary.

MNF, I think maybe Pisces can't fall under just one of these two .. it would probably go against our nature. Good topic, though 🙂

Yeah. And then they tried to bring lots of new crisises in the country, taken him as granted and weak. Now he abolished the parlament and set a new date for general elections.

Everyone is like "WTF?"..aka unexpected behavior.. Is he weak now? Nobody thinks so.


"What about the Turkish guy? What's he like?"

It's funny with him. People either love him or hate him. There is no middle ground. Most people love him. I mean public. But his rivals, the rivaling parties hate him. Even army hates him. And president too. But people love him. And his party (he leads the current ruling party) will probably again come to power with even more major power than he has now (more deputees). And for that, his rivals hate him more. LOL!

He has an ability to understand what's on most people minds. None so far in Turkey could get so much attention from people. Since his ruling time (4.5 years), the country economy has grown to the heights that none ruling parties has able to acheive.

He surely has an unorthodox way of ruling, most people don't understand. But I can.

Yeah, well when I see him doing something new (Turkish Prime Minister I mean) I just say "shut up, this man knows what he does" while many others just open their mouthes and talk BS, and 1-2 weeks later he does some "explaination" to people and all of them shut up. This is where I say "didn't I say this man knows what he does?" and everyone looks stupid or with sorry ass faces. Just like this one:
