Do you try & fight your Pisces traits that are so called typical just to be original.

All the time , being lethargic, lazy, avoding eality like the plague, and just trying to roll up in a ball, and dream away.It normally works out for me lol
But I've been trying to fight my nature alot, such as neing so caring, for those with a sad story, and practising being more hardore, kills me to do it, but mofos, need to stop taking kindnesx for granted

yeah I noticed all the typos after 8-)
Yes, we are extremely self-aware.
But peeps who ARE NOT self aware think that we have the same fogginess
that they live in...which is not the case.
Do i try to fight/suppress any of my Pisces traits ??
I probably should.
Lately...i've felt powerless against my lesser traits
(hence the "am i doomed..." thread)
I feel insecure about what i can offer a female since my break-up.
Being a pisces and having all that sensitivity and keen reasoning has certainly compounded that negativity.
Shyt hardly EVER just rolls of of me.
I don't know yo .
There's so much to fight.... lately, my fight seems to be on hiatus.
ONE THING i would like to change is:
I'm a pisces and i don't know how to swim.

"I think as a Pisces I recognize my weaknesses and am able to acknowledge them and work on them". This pretty much sums it up for me. I recently swore off drinking any alcohol and had been completely sober for 3 weeks until last night. Had some wine, then realized I really DON'T want to drink anymore. I feel more alive then I have in years! It's great to be clear-headed, lucid. I am working on little projects again - photography, drawing, writing, repairs around the home. And thinking about starting a business on the side.
No where near where I want to be or think I should be at this point in my life but we always have possibilities for growth and change.
Good with the training M Ldy! Sounds exciting. I am envious!

M Ldy,
I am on a similar journey myself. May be it's because we're both Pisces with Sag risings. Stopped straightening my hair years ago, have natural curly hair too, more like ringlets. You know what people pay to have hair like ours? I am sure you've found it liberating.
I believe Pisces truly sense change when it's on the way. I've known for years I would have to make certain sacrifices in order thrive, now I am making those needed changes.
We build up to change because it's inevitable. Not to say that we don't resist, yet, when the time comes, we know when to move on or let go. It seems everything in our being completely rejects what is bad for us.
All pisces have some artistic ability somewhere.

Question - Do you have to be alone to really be yourself?
