To feel everything, means nothing is special to feel.
People struggle with the Fish, in that we can be so into you, then suddenly we are cold as a fish.
We feel EVERYTHING ... and that is something that a non-fish cannot understand. They think they get it. They're like "yeah, yeah, ok, ok, we feel it all" ..
No, you don't. You think you do ... but, you don't.
We feel EVERYTHING ... we feel trees growing, we can feel a tsunami forming in the ocean on the other side of the planet, we can feel planets orbiting.
everything !!!
So, then nothing is special, nothing is new, nothing is more than another.

We attach ourselves to concepts like love, morality, career etc.
How do Pisces navigate with the rest of the people? If there's no attachment and nothing is special then can any person bring value in a Pisces's life?

So, then you are in a relationship with a Pisces, and s/he will (and often does) wrap you in a shroud of loyalty, trust and certainty ... and then can turn around and completely ignore you.
And that's because all is nothing.
The only other creature who can relate is the Virgo ... in that they are the complete opposite in that they are so fucking plugged in to feeling everything that they can't unstop feelings to where it overwhelms them. They can't sort it out, it's so full.
Yeah, that's everything .... that's all it is.
You all can digest this and psychoanalyze this to your hearts content ... but, you won't accomplish anything because you'll never be more than everything there is to love, want, have.

I get that.
It's just in my Virgo mind I hope I'd bring something to the table for the other person to receive. It's all rooted in Ego I think.
But then, if my presence in a Pisces's life amounts to a moment in time...where I am not even *there* and it doesn't matter who I am or what I'm doing..then that's absolute freedom of expression. Awesome.

Yes, it's very awesome ... for both parties.
My Virgo husband realizes that he isn't expected to be ... his reality is all he has to be, because that is all he can give me.
Perception .... to survive with a Pisces, you must bring to them YOUR perception of your reality, if you want us to feel.
People are like sheep ... everyone follows behind the other, people think that it's safe to be ordinary, to be normal.
And we've already felt all that shit with the first common person.
Bring us your interpretation if you want to move us ... and my husband knows this, he knows that how he views something or feels something is all he can really give me.
It's an incredible journey ... the Virgin/Fish.

*lightbulb moment*
So when a Pisces asks you to share things from your life with them..it's not about some concern, some small talk..they are going from one universe to the next and for the time being they want you to show them your universe so they can play in that.
It's not about the partner, it's about their world/perception/reality.

Empathy cannot exist any more than unconditional love can exist.
Every person has their own perception, has their own reality .... and to expect the other to put meaning to their life according to how you view it should be is ludicrous.
Same goes for people to think it's acceptable to ..... treat others as you want to be treated.
That is the epitome of selfishness ..... every person has their own perception of how they want to be treated, and to have that philosophy is telling them you won't treat them as they want, you will only treat them as YOU want.

Yup juke..I was thinking along the lines of that.
I think we all can understand each other, it doesn't matter from what reality we are from. "Reality" is just an illusion, but what connect us to each other and this world is real. I believe we can accomplish this, but it takes a lot of courage. Letting go of all things that ties us to "reality" and step outside that fog. Maybe that way we can finally feel the connection between all living beings.

A person can feel what they other is saying, empathetically ... but, you cannot understand how it is measured by them .. you can only understand how you measure it's value.
so, you're not really empathizing .... you are actually deceiving the other in believing that you know exactly what they mean.
A Pisces can literally feel the other person's emotions, but, they can only interpret those feelings according to their own perception of reality.

Pisces is all about feelz, that's the point of P-angel I think.
unconditional love is just a feel (and unconditional hate also exists), but feels can be switched on and off.
Pisces can see many different reactions to adopt in a situation, and don't follow conventional ones because they have choice.
That explains why pisces can have delayed reactions, or a more "spectator" attitude to some situations.
But unlike libra, pisces is not about maintaining status-quo or balance. Pisces will end up breaking balance and getting one of the more charged attitude, knowing that they can turn around at any time and swim back.

@CC and IrresistableScorp
Pisces can be very impressionable, and I know some hate hearing that, but it's true. We tend to pick up the habits of people we are around the most, for better or worst. It's one of the drawbacks of being mutable water, but at the same time it allows us to be everything to everybody. To the point that it's almost like we are compatible with everyone we meet. It's not that we don't have our own sense of identity, because we do. But we're so adaptable.
Kind of like that Bruce Lee quote:
"Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend."
Isn't this what the OP is saying?
I think it is. But CC makes an excellent point. P thinks her view is universal Fish, but she's been living as her Virgo husband for so long she's become a version of him. I see it all the time with da Fish. And this is why it is imperative for our dear friends the Fish to be with someone whose energy is positive and uplifting. IMHO
Water signs in general have this problem. I completely lost my heated passion with the Aqua with his rational ways--so I get this.
Well I don't know how much time P and her husband spend together but in general are you saying that Water signs find negative or downbeat energy with rational mindsets?

I think she meant the opposite but she is not mutable so... You saying you willingly did this IS?Signed Up:

Cool thread! I bet just a few GET what you are getting across here. My exact thought process is of 8th house placements. I swear I wait for the day I come across an astrologer that has the placements I do to grasp the understanding of it. The stuff I read is abosolute bullshit! DEATH/TRANSFORMATION...lol..no clue.
Not derailing, I just wrote about the 8th house and it has the same aura as this thread...but the bolded below in your quote:
Posted by P-Angel
A person can feel what they other is saying, empathetically ... but, you cannot understand how it is measured by them .. you can only understand how you measure it's value.
so, you're not really empathizing .... you are actually deceiving the other in believing that you know exactly what they mean.
A Pisces can literally feel the other person's emotions, but, they can only interpret those feelings according to their own perception of reality.
I KNOW when someone gets what I mean. I KNOW when they don't.
The people who don't I just shrug it off. It would almost be like trying to teach someone common sense/logic. You can't, they either have it or they don't. I also get that my perception of something is something I own in the real world and don't expect anyone else to. Big mistake to try, but if you can't catch onto a little bit of what I'm getting across..forget it. I enjoy the rare occasions when it does happen, and guess what? It's always been a Pisces and the Virgo I've spoken of many times (with Scorp moon). Virgos are the easiest to be around imo.
I feel every damn thing, good bad ugly. I learned to keep it to myself for the most part in the real world, because you are right it's MY perception of it. Anyway..again. Great thread. Signed Up:

Translation of Virgo who acts scared: They KNOW it will turn into a full fledge conversation that they'd rather not get into if they told you they figured you out, so..they act scared vs. disinterested to avoid the mess. As would be, arguably, the case with most people (irrespective of their astrological signs) who are (un)fortunate to live long enough to witness/experience those changes.
For the sake of the discussion, I no longer am a spring chicken myself, and despite, or perhaps in spite, of some life altering events that took place in my life (which I am not going to go into detail right now) some internal system values remain untarnished and as solid as ever. But again, that is just me and since I think I am digressing... *exists stage left*

LIB - you're right, it is very rare to find a person who actually gets what you are saying. I guess most people are so wrapped up in their own egos that they can't see beyond themselves.
Also for me, I find Virgos the easiest people to relate to ....

People jump on each others nuts and ride out the same path over and over and over ... there's nothing new in that.
If people agree vehemently with everyone else ... then what is there new to embrace?
Oh, and people do do that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ..... in fact, they are more concerned with the impressions they make and how they look than they are concerned with expressing how they truly feel.
there's nothing new in that
If you don't bring your interpretation on how you perceive a situation to the other person .... then the other person only knows what they thought. What is there to learn, if you don't bring your view to them?
To just tag along on each other's nuts because your ego is worried about how you look ... then you are nothing new, you are nothing special .... you're the same old, same old.

I'm not sure whether I actually get the first post but this thread has made me realise how out of touch I am with myself.. Lol
It's so normal, that is practically goes unnoticed. Even the Fish who came in here are utterly clueless that they possess this quality ... look at what they said.
Because it feels so normal .... it's like flushing a toilet, sometimes you actually have to go back to see if you flushed it. You just do it, it's not a conscious thought.
if everybody is right ... then nobody is right
People come in here all the time to testify that they have a Pisces who can turn on a dime, and not be able to come up with a valid answer for it, the Fish cannot explain it to them.
I am explaining it to them. The Fish themselves cannot detect it within them as being abnormal, so they cannot find within them this trait that I speak of.

In fact, one Fish said that she isn't like that, then proceeded to describe how she is exactly like that, and when it was pointed out to her that she said the same thing as me .... she cannot see it.
And that's because it's so fucking normal to be that way, that there is no gauge for recognition.
But, you'll notice that the non-Pisces understand what was said.
If you love everything, then you love nothing.

As the last sign and the ???oldest soul?? of the zodiac, I think P-Angel is having a mood-swing and expressing some of the jadedness that can come from being a Pisces (who becomes exhausted from carrying emotional burdens).
To say no feeling is new or special is numbing yourself instead of overcoming it. The result is that you become completely unempathetic (like P-Angel).
I admire Piscean empathy, so I would hope they don't all feel this way.
I am a little jaded after all the bad behavior I have had to see and experience over the years from all the turds out there (and they are growing in number, unfortunately).
This said, I still have a heartbeat, so I am not totally without love.Signed Up:

I think I get this...
How i understand it, it??s all related to connectedness. If you are connected to everything.... the ???feeling sensation?? is the same it??s just that you may feel more intensely for somethings than others. places, people, objects etc. I don't know about the love everything, love nothing thing tho... My ego rejects it.
In terms of wrapping in love then ignoring... I KNOW I understand this. When I was first getting to know my Pisces, I would text him random thoughts, feelings, observations etc. He never responded to any of them. If we were having an argument or he really wanted to make sure he got something across, he would respond.
But when I saw him, he would act in accordance to the things I said to him. Rarely verbally... it was all action and feeling.
