Pisces vs. Reality vs. Activity

This topic was created in the Pisces forum by haffo on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 and has 16 replies.
I think the reason why Pisces is very inactive in life matters is not because he or she is not aware of reality, but the opposite, they are very much aware of reality and simply don't want to deal with it.
Why? Because every time when I start something, I end up at the beginning.
I start at the beginning, run the whole ring and finish at the beginning. I know how every action will end. It's not even fun to start it anymore...
I know EXACTLY, what haffo is talking about yow
they are very much aware of reality and simply don't want to deal with it....'
please enlighten us on that.... why dont u guys want to deal with reality?? smile
Because the the results dont make us content enough.
I don't know about the rest of you but I used to be a perfectionist. If a project didn't meet my expections I'd work myself into a tizzy till I got it right, but of course it never met my standards after I wore myself out, then eventually I'd stop.
It's actualy quite easy Catfish36.
Our psyche already tuned to certain directions that has right outcome according to our mind. They are come out as true because we learned it that way.
Now, if something does not fit into our psyche, then it probably never would.
Sometimes we do not need deep thinking, just listen to how we feel.
JD i think it is something to do with "escapism" Big Grin
I beg to differ smile I think I'm very realistic. Although I feel there's a nudge to ask me to escape but my brain usually knock it off because if I don't deal with it, the problem won't disappear or nothing will change.
I get mad when somone says im unrealistic i live in full reality i just as you said hate dealing with it. because im not the best at fixing things.
If you don't know .. that you don't know . . then how do you know it's real. Kind of like "Old Timers". We may think this is reality, and that's where we live, but, how do we really know that if we don't really know what "Reality" is?
Haffo, "Because the the results dont make us content enough" That's so true. I know exactly what you mean. Plus, there's no challenge in it if we already know the end, so like you said, why even bother putting forth the energy.
Wouldn't it be cool to come across somethign diferrent? A thing, or person, that kept you guessing, in mystery? That would be something to do . . to figure it out.
Left idle with nothing to conquer, have to get others to at least TRY and figure things out. Gets pretty boring.
Aware of reality, Haffo? What's awareness?
I understand that starting feeling and never going anywhere. I get that somedays at work or at school. I know I've done things but I come home and still there's nothing accomplished. Knowing how things are going to turn out 75% of the time is uhhn not so w/ me. I think of to many possibblites or just expect the worst one. The project not satifsying me, yes I'm hugely guility that's one reason why I never get some things done because it doesn't matter it's not to satisfy me so I leave things the way they are. The concept of reality will contuine to exist, baffle, and amaze any picsian who will contupalate the idea and will never come to an aggrement.
until then,

So, maybe our challenge is to start at the end and see if we can run in reverse and still keep the events in order backwards.
Even though we know the results, at least it would be different. It wouldn't make life so boring.
"Why? Because every time when I start something, I end up at the beginning."
That's cos you're in your fish bowl haffo.

Aware of reality, Haffo? What's awareness?

Awareness? Well, from what I see, it's another type of game, with it's own rules. Nothing more. Again, no goal, no reason behind of it. It is just needed to appear "normal" for people. Does not really work with me, but this is how this world functions.
