Hrm...nothing new here. Let's see if I can once again bust some myths to hell and back. I disagree with the following in my own case:

Compassionate - With animals and people close to me. Everyone else, I really don't give a rat's ass.

Indecisive - Occasionally, about stupid shit like whether to buy the black or the brown shoes. Huge decisions are easy for me, because I've usually pursued a goal to get there.

Vulnerable - Sure, sometimes, but no-one is ever allowed to see this unless they are very, very close to me, and even then it is rare. BTW, Anyone who has NEVER been vulnerable, raise your hand. ::crickets::

Unstable - No! I have excellent balance! 😛

Easily led - Absolutely NOT. My Mercury and Mars are both in Aquarius. I lead and really don't care if anyone follows.

Lazy - If you call working 45+ hours a week, doing freelance work and working on a Master's lazy, then I guess I am.

Pisces is the Zodiac sign of UN-DOING - If this is referring to zippers and buttons, then yes. We're awesome at sensuously undressing others and ourselves. 🙂

Constantly need a role model or dominant partner in their lives - No. I'm a difficult woman to dominate. People have tried and failed miserably. I desire equality in partnerships and, thankfully, have found it.

Are unable to be on their own for a long time - I've been on my own since I moved out of my parents' house. I've never had a roommate and don't want one. Even as a kid, I was a loner.

Need other people to keep them grounded & on the right track - Um..no...that's what people use me for.

Are usually attracted to people that need severe help (Pisces flaw)) - I fucking hate these people actually. I have found they usually are just playing "victim" to get attention, and I don't have time for that shit

Live victoriously through their friends- I'm too busy with my own pursuits to live through anyone else. Nor do I need to.

Tend to get stressed when change comes - Actually, I crave change and find it comes way to slowly for my liking. Once again, if anyone loves negative, terrible changes to happen to them...speak up! ::::pin drop:::

Can sometimes live in a dream world they created - I never confuse dreams with reality, and I don't set goals that are unattainable.

Always take the easy way out of things - I WISH! People who do this only end up continuing to be confronted by the SAME issues again and again. Just deal with it the first time!

Pisces DOWNFALL is their sensitivity & their inability to reject another person - I've rejected quite a few, actually. However, I don't think this is something to be proud of. Since when is rejecting someone a plus? It's a common life occurrence for everyone.

Hate rejection - Once again...raise your hand if you love it! I have learned to handle this because I had to. I work in a creative field, and if you can't handle rejection, you won't last two seconds.

Can rarely tell a person ?no? because they don't want to hurt someone's feelings - HAHAHAHA! I don't have time to say to say "yes" to much of anything, so people hear "no" from me a lot.

Always tell others their emotions & feelings - NEVER! I am not an emotionally open person and have a difficult time expressing them. This goes back to the being vulnerable thing. I won't allow it.

Live in two worlds: the real world & the mystical world where they interpret what they see INTO what they WANT - As far as I know, I only live in one world. Do I have goals? Sure...if you don't I recommend setting some.

Are always searching for themselves - If I didn't know myself pretty damn well, I couldn't have even answered these.

Fear confrontation - Are you serious? 🙂 I choose my battles, but if necessary, I have no problem setting someone straight. I'm not easily intimidated.

There are of course other independent variables that come into play with the Pisces personality or personality period.

Well, that depends on what you consider taking something personally. YOU might assume that I'm taking your response personally but I'm not. I simply replied & said what I had to say. And my research goes way beyond this site. I have conducted a survey of 136,000 people who were pisces throughout the Midwest & these are the finding that I found. You may not agree with me, but I didn't get my information from YOU or google, I got it from REAL PEOPLE, with REAL experiences so talk to them if you have a problem with what I posted. And your opinion is widely welcomed. But when it comes down to someone testing my creditials (Saying I got my information from google), would make ANYONE who actually has spent the last 7 years studying astrology, respond. It's no different than being a doctor. Some doctors lose patients, & give the wrong diagnosis all the time, but that doesn't mean they didn't go to medical school. That's all I'm saying. Trust me, NONE of you will ever personally get to me.

My ex was a triple Pisces, and she pretty matched your description right on with a few minor caveats.

Unstable - She wasn't unstable. She was fairly accomplished and held her own.

Care - She was pretty selective with who she cared for. Was rather callous towards some family members and tended to ridicule her co-workers. Sometimes, she seemed downright selfish. But she had a near perfect empathy for dogs... any dog.

To conduct a thorough study on astrology, or anything for that matter, a random sample of people from all over the world should have been queried to see of background, culture and upbringing altered the answers in any way. It appears to me that most people who come in here .. realize real fast, maybe only a couple weeks (if that), that sun really plays a minor part in the astrological make-up of a person .... which they then become compelled to research thier natal and aspects.

Seven years is a long time to study and research astrology .. and not know that people would bulk at these generalizations. It would seem logical to me that a person with this amount of extensive research into a subject would have an actual awareness that people who are into astrology actually comprehend that the general traits of a sun sign really has no varifiable meaning without knowing where the other planets are positioned to interact and influence the sun.

So, to say, as justification, that some people don't know this stuff and this is the reason for posting it .. is in reality saying .. she doesn't know either that the placement of the sun plays little part in a persons life, without looking at the entire chart.

P-angel this is ridiculous. I can actually go thru your post and show you were you have generalized people based on sun signs. I think you have some serious problems with addressing the down side of pisces. Funny no one is saying anything about the GOOD traits she posted.

To be so above it all and to be so open minded the pisces board is the one up in arms about her findings. She posted them on every board and none are INVALIDATING her by questioning her education with astrology and research skills like the PISCES board.

Actually, there have been people just as vehemently disagreeing on the other boards, not just here. Namely, Scorpio and Capricorn. In fact, several people on Capricorn responded on a point by point basis, just as I did, and didn't get the defensive response I got. Must be because I asked for actual proof of these alleged surveys.

The sad part is, this could have been interesting had someone actually conducted a study because it might have revealed new information, and in a conclusive, more scientific way. Not just the same general stuff you find repeated in all the books. Anyone who finds any of it new, obviously hasn't studied astrology in any depth at all.

Just because it's not interesting to you doesn't mean it cannot be interesting to others. What's old to you is new to someone else. If you've already heard it or it doesn't apply to you why not keep it moving and let the other people who like it enjoy it. Why not find something that is right and comment or clarify why it is right instead of being on the defense and refuting the negative all the time?

The point is, you posted, asked us to be the judge, I replied with experiences from my own life that refute your findings and all you can do is whine that I am not a real person with real experiences. Guess what! I AM a real person and I'm a Pisces and a few of the things you found do not fit me. I never said ALL! And I did also point out some of the "good" qualities that don't apply to me either. As you also couldn't provide statistics to support your supposed "research" this leads me to believe you simply went through books and websites rather than talking to real people.
