SCORPIO WOMAN / PISCES MALE

Hi!
Need advice on a Pisces male 13 deg/Sag moon 23 deg/Scorpio asc 19 deg/Venus Pisces 23 deg/Mercury Aries 0 deg/Pluto Scorpio 7 deg.
I am a Scorpio female 7 deg/Aries moon 22 deg/Leo asc 26 deg/Venus Scorpio 6 deg/Mercury Libra 25 deg/Pluto Libra 27 deg.
Here I go, I met Pisces male on a dating site-- we chatting via text and talked on the phone...
The last time we chatted on the phone, he was supposed to be studying for a test thats scheduled the following day but instead he spent the time talking on the phone with me and we chatted for a good 90 mins. I insisted we get off the phone so he can study for his test and he said he'll be ok....
Anyway, so the following day, he called me and spontaneously asked to meet up, which we did and the connection was evermore...I cant remember the last time I had this type of chemistry/connection with a man. I mean of course I have connected with others like, my female friends and even some of my male friends, but not like this. I felt like our connection was on another level.
Ok, so let me get to the punch line, after we met up for a bit and went our own way, I received a text approx. 20 mins later with (had so much fun with you, I like that you make me laugh, when are u free again?) I responded with my availability and he said he would let me know and get back with me and we chatted a bit more and said our Goodnights.
The next day, I sent him a text with "Hope your day is off to a good start" and then he replies with, "you too, pray for my test grade" and I said "will do" Ever since then have not heard much from him.
(((Stay with me please almost done!!)) So, 2 days later, I sent him a text and asked if everything is ok? and he replied shortly after that sorry about not getting to me last night because he fell asleep when he got home from work and I jokingly said "oh ok cool thought you lost interest in me lol" and then he said "oh no. Of course not".
((My negativity of scorpio traits kicks in)) and I sent a text with: "I dont think we should talk anymore, bc usually I can see right through ppl and youre hard to decipher and I cant tell if its bc youre in law enforcement or if youre being sincere". and minutes later he replied with: "yea, too unstable. have a good 1". and then minutes later I called him while he was driving to work and I spilled the beans and emphasized what I texted like him being in law enforecement blah blah blah cant figure you out, etc."

and he said "yeah its a turn off but lets give this another shot". and since then I have not heard from him.
Did he just say that to be nice? Need advice!
