Thanksgiving Plans .....

So, what are all my fellow Americans doing for Thanksgiving this year?

Our holiday is going to be spent at our sons ... his wife (who can't cook) wants to do her first Thanksgiving feast. This ought to be an experience.

She can't even cook soup from a can, lol

Bless her heart, though .. she's all excited and has clipped out recipes. She's trying !!!

Is everybody going home?

What am I doing for thanksgiving?

Cooking! 🙂 IO love food and I love to cook! I just don't know what am cooking. I'll be in the kitchen with my mom, which will be nice to spend time with her.

That's the best part about Holiday's, Cappysweetie .. family time.

It wouldn't really matter what was on the menu .. what matters is being able to pull the family together, to laugh and be merry.

Holidays do that to us, as people .. we could all have different life style s, or disputes within the family .. but, it all gets checked at the door, so we can come together to celebrate as One.

That's so special that you get to have time with your mother in the kitchen to provide a meal for the family .. those kind of memories are the best of all. 🙂

Yeah, my Mom's a pisces 😄 We don't like to admit it to everyone but we really like spending time with each other. Especially since I moved in June, she'll be 51 next year so I'm trying hard to stop her from smoking because I want her to be around to see my husband (if I ever get one) and my kids (if I ever have any, all that pain and blood GOODNESS! lol, just kidding). So yeah, it'll he fun to talk to her while cooking since our schedules are so screwy right now. I wonder if she'll let me handle the turkey this time 😉

Wow, she's lucky to have you to keep encouraging her to quit .. that is a hard habit to break, maybe the hardest of all, and by having you wanting her to quit for the love of your future family *fingers crossed*, then her being a Pisces will certainly recognize this as your love for her to be apart of this family.

How is she doing with the smoking? Is she slowing down?

I wish my family would do that ... Pisces normally live within what makes their family happy, for it makes us happy for them to be so. My family encourages smoking ::sighs::

As for the turkey .. probably not, lol. Us Piscean females take great honor in feeding our families, so, if she doesn't let you do stuff, it isn't because she thinks you aren't capable of cooking it .. it's because providing for our families domestically is something we LOVE to do for them.
