I'm not signing up to be P-Angel's sidekick, cheerleader, or public defender (she wouldn't want & doesn't need that anyway!); but, over the past year or so, the posts of hers that I've read have been insightful, frank, and helpful. True, she doesn't pull any punches, but there's nothing wrong with brutal honesty - at least to this Virgo...
Again: I don't see anything wrong with the folks on DXP who try to make a difference being cordial with each other. If some of you are bothered by that, then you need to look at your own motives instead of questioning mine...
And since "hothouselilies" brought faith into the mix, as a Christian I am compelled to turn the other cheek, to give up both the coat and the cloak, and to go the extra mile. I hardly think that extending a hand to a kindred spirit on an anonymous web forum is at odds with the teachings of Jesus; but if y'all know better, then you should try and make disciples of us all!!

Bush has run up a shitload of bad debt that my grandchildren will be paying for, and got us into a nation-building campaign in Iraq that has cost TRILLIONS of dollars and cost hundreds of thousands of lives (civilians more than troops). Actually, you've got the sequence all backwards: I called her a "cunt" after I disagreed with one of her posts. Later,she sent me a private message (that's saved on my Profile as a screen shot) in which she admitted to playing games with sincere folks on DXP, and I exposed her for it. It was during the exchanges after this that she claimed that Federal Marshals had been contacted, since it appeared that someone had the capability (or, insinuated it) to track down her actual identity based on her IP address at that time. I have all those threads and posts archived, in case you disagree with my correct retelling of that incident in FEB/MAR 2007...

HHL - I am not a racist. I voted for Obama, I volunteered on his campaign, I believed in his campaign, and I am also latina. I am simply aprehensive on where he is going. I think the Federal Reserve is evil and that is why I am disappointed in him appointing Tim Geithner.
