Soooo cuuuuuuute!
Yeah I think cancers are the more adaptable water sign to the other water signs. They don't have scorpios insane possessiveness or pisces wavering jumping. However they tend to be the more pushed around of all three signs. Scorps trump with temper(controlled and uncontrolled) and pisces with emotional brilliance. They are such a sign of sideways movement though truly. Feminine, yet Cardinal. Maternal/nurturing yet VASTLY powerful at impacting emotions. Slow to advance but quick to move.
Have you been close to any Cancers?? I hardly know any...the guys never grab my attention cause they're so shy.

Man I'm like a freakin cancer magnet, well I was when dating lol. They don't oft gain attractions for taken women so if you even have a HINT of taken vibe they scurry away.

I luffles my Aqua friends to near death. But I'm way to water-based. I'm afraid they'd scoop me in a jar and store me in the freezer rather than let me express and delve emotions haha.
